Will all women be happy and immediately accept a proposal from the man they love?

Hearing Do Il ask her to marry him, In Joo is taken aback, and a second later she bursts out laughing.

"You have got to be kidding, hahaha..."

But Do Il doesn't laugh.

In Joo stops laughing awkwardly. And slowly she releases her hand from Do Il's grasp. Do Il's heart is like an invisible bullet and shatters into pieces. His body seemed to slide down to the bottom of a deep abyss. Before In Joo says anything, Do Il already knows the answer. Even so, he still tried to show his best smile.

"Oh... um... sorry, I surprised you, didn't I? Aish..." Do Il scratched his head that didn't itch, "what did I think to say that? Don't think about it, I'm just rambling, hehehe... "

In Joo can only smile awkwardly.

The whole way home was filled with silence. In Joo also refuses when Do Il invites her to have breakfast at a roadside diner. Do Il curses himself inside. He was too hasty. He should have asked In Joo to date or live together, instead of asking her to get married right away. But Do Il wants to go through all those stages and tie her in marriage right away. He truly believes that In Joo is the right woman to be with him until death picks him up. But anyone would run away if they were suddenly asked to marry. At least there must be preparation to make the proposal event unforgettable. Even Do Il hasn't prepared the ring yet. How fool!

Arriving in front of the wooden house, In Joo immediately gets down before Do Il opens the door for her. She immediately entered the bedroom. Even though it's unlocked from the inside, Do Il doesn't dare to catch up with her. He just paces in front of the door, worried that In Joo is currently packing her things, then ordering a ticket back to Seoul.

The door opened moments later. In Joo has already taken a shower and changed her clothes.

"Oh? You haven't showered yet?"

"I..."

"Ah, that's right, your clothes are in your room. Please," In Joo stepped away from the room while rubbing her wet hair with a towel.

"In Joo-ya..."

In Joo turned around.

"About earlier--"

"Get cleaned up first, then we'll talk about it in the back garden."

Dewdrops on two beer cans slid down the wooden table where they stood. It's still full but it's not cold anymore, it hasn't decreased at all since the lid was opened. In Joo and Do Il just sit silently for a few minutes. The two of them were lost in their own thoughts and made up opening linesu.

"Um--"

"That--"

Once they spoke, both of them uttered the words almost at the same time.

Do Il invites In Joo to speak first while preparing his heart.

"I like you--"

But then In Joo shakes her head and corrects her sentence.

"No, I don't like you. I fell in love with you, from the first sight."

The flower of hope that had almost withered began to bloom again.

"Since the first time you talked to me, my heart has been pounding. I like you even more after you keep helping me. I always wonder why you help me even though the money is no longer with me. But you always have many reasons so I don't misunderstand. But now suddenly you confess your love to me and even ask me to marry you."
