All I want is to grow old with you at my side. I have made my peace with the fact of your immortality, and it no longer bothers me as much as it used to. There is nothing you can offer me to change my mind, and I ask that you respect my wish to live my life as I please. I have always believed that human life is worth living because it is fleeting and that the moments I steal from time are valuable because they end. Upon meeting you I have realized that this is not the only reason my life is valuable, but I do not wish to live forever. I enjoy knowing that one day soon, it will end. This may seem morbid, but it brings me peace. I implore you, to stop trying to convince me otherwise. Please let it go.
