A Summer Evening of You

This story is told in Hirano's POV. This is told when both boys are in the same university, and they share a dorm together. 

Hirano and Kagiura had some weeks off of school for summer break, and they both couldn't go back home yet. Kagi's basketball coach is away on vacation, and Hirano doesn't have to do any work.

"Hirano, aren't you bored laying in bed all day? Let's go out and do something fun together, like a date!" exclaimed Kagiura.

He has already confessed his love for me and now he is too open about his affection towards me.  He always says random things like going on dates, or doing things together, which is fine, but something is off recently. Ever since vacation has started, he has seemed overly energized, which may be from sleeping in and not having basketball practice at the break of dawn, but I don't know. He just seems like he needs something to do, so I guess I will have to be the one to please him.

"Fine then... Kagi, what do you want to do today?" I said with a smirk. What I was expecting, I have no clue, because what happened later on that night...well you will find out. 

"Really, Hirano-san? We should go out for ice cream and then we can go find a nice restaurant to eat at, and then maybe we can go play some basketball, how does that sound?" Kagiura seemed very ecstatic. 

"Kagi, I told you to stop adding the honorific ever since we got out of high school. I won't go on any dates if you keep saying it."

"I know Hirano, but it just sticks so well, but we should get going soon, it is almost 4."

Well, we finally made it out of the dormitory at 5, and well, there was a reason we were running a little off track, Kagi. I knew he wouldn't wear his average shorts and t-shirt, but I didn't expect him to wear a button-up... he should wear them more often, he looks h- ahh I mean, we should just leave it at that.

"So, do you still want to start with ice cream? I personally think we should wait till after basketball for that, maybe let's get some food?"

"Yeah, I was kinda thinking I was hungry now, it has been 5 hours since lunch."

We found a nice restaurant that wasn't too busy, maybe around 15 other people were there. I ordered a nice steak with veggies, and Kagi ordered some nice wraps. I normally don't go out often while school is in session, so I thought I would celebrate a bit. I ordered some fine red wine, and of course, he wanted to try it. It isn't like Kagi isn't old enough to drink, but I have never seen him have alcohol in his life, ever. 

"Hirano, can I try some of your wine? It looks very tasty and it seems like you enjoy it."

"Kagi, are you sure? I haven't ever seen you drink before."

"Yeah, Hirano I think I am ready, and I can trust you!"

"Uh, okay, here but only a little bit, I don't know how much you can handle."

He did indeed drink the wine. I didn't even give him that much at first, maybe the amount of a shot glass, but then he kept begging for more. I did give in to his pleading, he is so much like a puppy.

"Hiranooo, can I pleaseee have some more? I really like it, it has very good flavor."

"Fine, but only a little more, you look a little flushed already."

**Three shot glasses later**

"Hirano. I think I am done for."

Ugh, what is he rambling about now...

"What is it Kagi? Do you need some water or to leave?"

"Maybe we should go play basketball now, and then ice cream, please Hirano?"

We left the restaurant and Kagi was still excited to play basketball, but I could tell he was a little tipsy. I have to get him home after the ice cream or else I will feel even worse about this.

So we played basketball for about 30 minutes. Even though he is not fully sober, Kagi still has perfect trajectory, I really want to know what goes on in his mind when he plays. 

We then go get ice cream like I promised. It was very nice after the summer heat. 

"Kagi, we have to take the subway back to the uni, is that okay? If you really want, I will pay extra for a taxi."

"No Hirano, the subway is fine. We better get going because the 9 'o clock train is leaving in 10 minutes."

The train ride was empty, completely empty, which is very unusual, but I guess there is not really anyone going to the uni at 9 p.m. either. Kagi looked very tired from all the activities from the day, and then I suddenly felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked over, and it was him.

"You sure had fun today, Kagi. You deserve a rest."

This exceeded our 10 second touch rule that we had when we were in high school. He would have freaked out if he saw himself now. In fact, his present self was freaking out too once he woke up.

"H-Hirano, you should have woken me up! I am sorry for being a burden to you."

"Kagi, I have been saying it is fine for the past minute. Just forget that it ever happened."

*Kagi mumbles* "How can I ever forget that."

"Did you say something Kagi? Hey, come and keep up or we'll never get home."

We were silent most of the way, but then as we were heading towards the doors of the dormitory, Kagi started talking, but I was not focused on that. I was focused on his body. I didn't even notice it was raining outside considering I am a little tipsy myself. The button-up that he wore today was now completely transparent, revealing his slim body and muscles. 

"Hey uh... Hirano, did you hear me? You keep staring at my stomach."

"... what did you say again?"

"Oh...uh I was just talking about how much I appreciated today and the time we spend together. Even though you have rejected my feelings ever since high school."

I don't know if it was the alcohol's influence, the heat of the moment, or maybe even my true feelings. I pushed Kagi against the stairwell wall and got so close to his face I could feel his hot breath. I then closed my eyes and just went for it. 

I kissed Kagiura. My first kiss went to my roommate.
