"oh sorry," a soft voice said as i stumbled backwards. i looked up to see a really pretty girl that's really pale in front of me.
"it's okay," i told her, smiling. her face flushed red and she nodded. she started walking away, but i said, "wait."
she turned around and looked at me. i walked towards her.
"i know we just met, but you're very pretty and i'd like to get to know you, so would you like to go get some food?" i asked her, smiling. her face turned a really bright red color and she smiled.
"i would love too," she told me.
"great, let's go," i said as we made our way to the food courts. "what would you like to eat?" i asked her.
"hmm, how about some panda express?" she asked me, smiling. i nodded.
"let's go," i said and we walked to the panda express booth.
"hi, how can i help you?" the worker asked us.
"i'd like some chow mein, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken," i told the employee. i turned to look at mystery girl. "what would you like?" i asked her.
"i'd like the same as him please," she said and the employee nodded.
"okay so your total will be $18.50," the waiter said. mystery girl started taking out her wallet, but i stopped her.
"i got it," i said and handed the employee a twenty dollar bill. he gave me back my change and handed us our food.
"you know, i could've paid for myself," she told me as we searched for an empty table.
we found one in the middle of the food court. we sat down.
"i know, but a guy never ever lets the girl pay," i told her and opened my bowl. i stared eating my chow mein and she started eating her orange chicken.
"so mystery guy with amazing red hair, who bought me food, what's your name?" she asked me, smiling. i finished chewing my chow mein.
"michael gordon clifford at your service. so mystery pale princess, what's your name?" i asked her and she blushed.
"anna marie johnson at your service," she told me. "and mr. clifford, you're as pale as i am," she exclaimed, causing me to laugh.
"no mrs. johnson, i'm just white, you're this very pretty pale color," i told her, making her blush once again.
"ah, why thank you, i can totally see the difference now," she said sarcastically. "i'm sorry, that was kind of rude," she apologized, frowning.
"it's okay my pale princess, i like girls who are sarcastic," i told her as i started eating my orange chicken.
"well, i'm not trying to brag or anything, but i speak fluent sarcasm," she told me, wiggling her eyebrows, causing me to almost choke on my orange chicken.
"well, i guess you're just my type," i said, smirking. she playfully rolled her eyes.
"i guess i am," she said, smiling.
"am i your type, my pale princess?" i asked her, smirking.
"of course, i really love guys with hair brighter than my future," she told me, smirking.
"well talking about futures, i think i can see you in mine," i said, trying to be flirty.
"oh michael, you're such a chessy goof ball," she told me laughing, causing me to smile.
"last time i checked, i am not cheese or a goof ball," i told her as she was finishing her chow mein.
we finished eating a few minutes later.
"well, it was amazing meeting and going on this date with you michael," she told me, smiling. i smirked.
"i never said this was a date, but if you want to call it that, go ahead," i said, causing her to smack my arm and blush.
"anyways, i have to go, but here's my number, i hope we can hang out again," she told me, giving me a piece of me and then hugging me. then she started walking away.
"good bye my pale princess," i said and typed the number she gave me into my phone.
i really hope i see her again.
