It was the next day and I found myself at the beach, sitting next to Ali and the rest of the girls. Even though she broke things off with Johnny, I stayed friends with her. Considering I was friends with her first, she was how I became acquainted with Johnny and the rest of the Cobra's.
That was freshman year, I didn't become best friends with them until last year. Now I wish I would have became friends with them sooner, because they are the best, best friends I could ask for.
Ali and I are just sitting on our towels talking and giggling. When a group of boys playing soccer run by us. As they kick the ball around, when one boy catches my attention and apparently Ali's as well. It was Daniel, the boy from the other day.
The other boys run off, leaving Daniel behind as he looks at both me and Ali. As we smile up at him, before looking at each other and giggling. He wasn't really my type but I knew he was Ali's. Besides I kinda have my eyes on someone else, more like five different boys.
Looking away, I start a conversation with Tara, her and Ali are really the only girls I consider best friends. "Looks like Ali has eyes for the new guy." I whisper, as we both look at Ali and Daniel admiring each other. Causing us to giggle.
"Looks like it." She says, before looking toward Noah Dalton. The boy she's been crushing on since forever.
"Finally going to make a move?" I questions, nudging her shoulder.
"Maybe..." she trails off, nervously.
"Don't be scared, he definitely likes you." I state, watching as he looks toward our direction and looks directly at Tara. As they make eye contact, they both blush and quickly look away. Causing me to giggle, as Tara nudges my shoulder.
Soon Daniel and his friends move away from us to continue their game of soccer. As Ali, Tara and I head down to the water. Giggling as we splash each other, as we enjoy our last day of summer.

Later in the night, we are sitting on the sand surrounding a fire with Ali's radio playing. As we all laugh and talk about our summers and boys. Glancing toward Ali, I notice her and Daniel making heart eyes at each other.
Nudging Tara, getting her attention I nod my head in Ali's direction. As we both watch Ali crush on Daniel, causing us to smile.
"You gonna make a move or what?" I question, getting Ali's attention. As she turns toward me and Tara
"What?" She questions, trying to act clueless.
