Fate of an Ice Cold Boy

Izuku is working on an invention that could revolutionize cryogenics forever in saving human life.

Izuku: Everything looks okay here. How about you Kacchan?

(In this au Bakugo did bully Izuku for being quirkless, but stopped when he found out about Inko's illness and decided to help Izuku's research).

Katsuki: All is good here. She should be stable.

Izuku: Thanks Kacchan, I'm very grateful. Why don't you go home and take a break, I'll finish up here.

Katsuki left and Izuku was working when he heard a knock at the door. Izuku hid Inko in case it was a villain.

Izuku: Coming.

Izuku opened the door and saw Yakuza members enter and start taking away his research.

Izuku: What are you doing? This is my life's work.

???: Not anymore.

Izuku looked to where the voice came from and saw the leader Kai Chisaki a.k.a Overhaul.

Overhaul: We are going to use your work to rid this world of the disease that is quirks.

Izuku: You can't do that. I have a life and I need the funding.

Izuku gets funding from Endeavor since he and Fuyumi were childhood friends turned lovers. Also in this au Endeavor is a good father and Toya didn't become Dabi. Shoto got his scar during a villain attack.

Overhaul: Yes I can and you can't stop me.

Overhaul then kicked Izuku into a table that had chemicals on it and they all fell on him.

Later Izuku woke up to find that his body changed. His skin was light blue, his hair turned white as snow and he didn't even feel cold. Izuku tried to leave, but he then found out he couldn't go into the heat anymore.

Izuku: What happened to me?

Izuku was scared and confused but then calmed down. He got to his phone and called Katsuki.

Meanwhile at the Bakugo residence.

Mitsuki: Hey sweety, how was work.

Katsuki: It's going great so far, we're really making a breakthrough.

Mitsuki: I hope Inko will be alright.

Katsuki: She will mom, Auntie is strong, I know she'll live.

Katsuki then hears his phone ringing and sees that Izuku is calling him.

Katsuki: Hey Izuku. Why are you calling me so early?

Izuku: Kacchan please come to the lab and bring the heroes. I can't explain what happened, but my body changed and I can't go out into the sun anymore.

Katsuki: Okay I'll call the heroes and come over and I'm bringing Mom too. Bye.

Later at Izuku's house.

Katsuki: Izuku, where are you?

Izuku: Over here.

Katsuki and the heroes looked at Izuku and were shocked to see Izuku's changes.

Mitsuki: Izuku, what happened to you?

Izuku explained what happened and how his body changed. Katsuki, Mitsuki, and the Todoroki family hugged Izuku and comforted him.

Izuku: I'll be fine, but I need help moving my mom, the Yakuza knew where my lab was and it's not safe for her here.

Nezu: We'll move her to a lab at U.A., but we'll also need you to come with us for an examination.

Izuku: But I can't leave the cold or I'll die.

Nezu: We'll use a chamber to pump cold air into it while we transport you.

Izuku: Okay, and thank you for coming for me.
