Deaths POV

It's been a week and since the marines failing to take us down I was in bed napping until I wake up to being slammed onto the floor.. "oops sorry Death!" I growl under Luffy.. I've also kept on doing my job of taking lives away from careless people.. but each time I'm gone robin looked at me like she was sorry for me?..

I sit up after pushing Luffy off "damn idiot-t you almost made me break my tail!" I get up stretching "Luffy! Be more careful besides we don't want him more annoyed than he was yesterday!" Nami exclaimed.. she wasn't wrong though..why you may ask? Well...

Flashback

"Death come play!" "No besides I'm still tired Luffy." I was leaning against the walls right side from the kitchen door.. "please please please-" "No!" I snarled with my eyes flashing red Ussop shrieks "it's been forever thoughhh" "it's only been almost a week." Luffy pouted as I growled frustrated "Luffy how about we play a-" "no I want death to play with us!" I growled hearing him say please for 5 minutes and finally snap "NO! Now shut up!" I storm off grumbling in Spanish slurs while Ussop looked like his soul left his body and Luffy just pouting..

Flashback end

"Breakfast is done you lazy asses!- and my lovely ladies!~" Luffy rushes off while I put on a black sleeveless shirt and my black pants with my brown ,black tinted combat boots.. I walk off to the kitchen and go to my seat sitting down in between zoro and sanji.. Nami said it was to separate them from arguing more and I couldn't blame her they went all out sometimes.. it made me purposely call stuff out to make them fight.. what? It's funny!

I start eating some of the meat before growling at a certain stretched hand that was slithering to my plate.. it retreats to Luffy as he huffs and continues eating his own.. "say..death?" I raise an eyebrow "hm?" "Where did you grow up at?" I think to myself before shrugging "don't know I think up in the grand line"

Zoro spits his saké out once it sunk in "ha!? Man your filled with surprises death!" Zoro laughs "what's so bad about it?" "You were there before we even were then!" Luffy chuckled I tilt my head like a confused dog would making robin giggle and I flush red.. "what kind of fish they have up there or anything of that matter?" "Well..I ran into some stuff and hunt things on my own-" "wait you grew up alone out there?!" "Yeah?.." "how did you survive!?" "Moss head wouldn't last a second in those woods-" "the hell did you say you nosebleed!?" "That's it!"

I continue calmly drinking some of my saké that was in my shot glass before finish up eating as zoro and sanji fought above me.. it made me laugh inside at they're relationship as crewmates.. once I had my fun I uppercut both with both fists "alright you two chill out" Zoro grumbles while Sanji rubs his chin

After breakfast I was leaning against the railing watching over the sea.. I start questioning myself.. why am I still like this..why am I here and..why haven't I stopped my ways when joining.. but I shook my head not wanting it to stay in my head anymore.. but I do wonder.. with how I'm here and also can easily appear and disappear somewhere different..am I dead or alive still?..

"Deep thinker too hm?" I look over to see Sanji "just something's bothering me.." "more than Luffy? Heh that's surprising.." "Yeah..well..it's stupid anyway.." Sanji raises one of his curly eyebrows "then why think so much on it?" My eyes look away.. "come on besides I won't tell if it's serious" I think before sighing.. "fine.. I'm..dead Sanji" Sanji blinks before laughing "no your alive Death" I give him a serious look and it shuts him up.. "wait..your joking right?" "No.." Sanji goes wide eyed "but then how are you-" "I don't know honestly..but that's what's on my mind..am I dead or alive.." Sanji thinks before lighting a cigarette from his box "that's a tuff question really..I'd hate to be in that situation.."

I think to myself.. "could it even be possible to be both alive and dead.." "well not necessarily but in your case I can say maybe?" I look to him confused "how?" "Well you said your dead or supposed to be and your alive infront of me so.." "okay okay" I growl in frustration rubbing my head.. Sanji I felt put a hand on my shoulder making me flinch "don't worry..besides I'd even go far to say your a god" Sanji chuckles walking off..but I start thinking about it..my abnormal abilities and quickly intimidating people with looks and words..it makes no sense for someone to be this strong from square one.. I sigh before walking off..

Timeskip

I was sparring with zoro until I hear Nami yell out about an island.. I pout while Zoro grumbles "your getting better amigo not bad" Zoro smirks to my remark "I'll beat ya one day Death" I chuckle as I put on my half shirt like cloak with the hood up "must say your somewhat scary with those teeth" Zoro chuckles while I roll my eyes "oh hahaha so funny.." I sarcastically say as I left..

Once outside I watch as we near a town looking island.. it reminds me of the Mexican culture back where I was before I died.. I frown in the memory.. once we docked I jumped down and waited for everyone else though Nami yelled for me from how idiotically I jumped down without thinking.. I rolled my eyes and walked on as her rampage was now from the distance carried by the wind..

Sanji's POV

Nami sighed and said for robin and zoro to follow off with death and chopper to stay since it's hot out here at the island.. the rest will follow her or go off on our own.. I decided to head on my own to look for supplies for food.. but as I walked from the ship I thought back to death and my conversation..

I furrowed my curly eyebrows.. if he's dead and alive and well.. is he really a mortal or something?.. I shook my head but I kept thinking on it.. his whistle..his eyes..even his strange way of getting around and fighting..it was different..and felt so unreal..especially how he made those flames appear..'just what are you Death..'
