  "Victoria Penelope Gomez?"

The girl looked up to see a boy sitting beside her on the chair by the table. Library at night was completely empty so it was sure that the boy's presence shocked her. Plus, no one ever sits in the dark corner where she does. She calls it 'her safe place'.

She closed the book and turned her body towards him. He was dressed in a black turtleneck. He had sharp black eyes, dark hair and olive skin. Nicholas Scratch. She knew him, just like everyone in the academy. The endless amount of profanities that were used to describe the charming warlock: man-whore, man-slut, prince charming, playboy. His name was on everyone's lips, especially between the lips of teenage girls.

"Hello to you to, Nicholas Scratch." She spoke. He was quite popular amongst the students here. She wasn't surprised when he approached her, maybe he wanted to try and get into her pants, just like he did to everyone. You can't say she was popular like Nicholas, but maybe well-known. People portrayed her as a mysterious witch. She didn't have many friends and would spend her free time in the library, reading books.

He leaned closer looking at the book she was currently reading. "So... You're interested in Demonology?"

"Demons are quite interesting, just like demonology itself." She replied quickly, wanting to go back to reading.

Nicholas smiled at her pleasingly. She didn't deny it, the boy was attractive, but if anyone touched him - they would end up dead from the weird sisters' hands.

"What is your favorite demon?" He asked her another question.

Victoria nodded slightly, looking for an answer. "I'd say it's Valac. His whole character is impressive and he's not easy to summon." She replied.

He hummed, locking his eyes with hers. "I have a question." Nicholas stated, curiosity in his eyes.

The girl squinted her eyes and nodded her head for him to continue.

"Why are you so secretive?"

She snickered. "What makes you think that?" The girl asked clearly annoyed by his statement.

"I've been observing you for a quite some time and I noticed some things about you." Nicholas shrugged.

"Carry on, please." She stated, now curious what he was about to say. Nobody has ever called her secretive before so she was quite taken aback by his words. Of course, she knew, nobody knew anything about her, but that wasn't a problem before.

The boy sighed and looker her in the eyes. "You never sit with anyone at the lunch, you're always reading books and never talking to anyone." He simply said, leaving Victoria speechless and stunned.

"I'm shocked and impressed." She finally spoke after few seconds of silence. "You're the first person who said that to me."

"Sorry if I made you uncomfortable, it's just that I'm curious about you." Nicholas remarked.

Victoria nodded at his words and grabbed her book. She got up from the table and without looking at the boy - walked out of the library. She looked over her shoulder. "If you want to know more, let's go for a walk."

"So... what classes are you taking?" Nicholas questioned as they walked around the academy.

"Beside Demonology, I'm taking ritual magic, conjuration and latin."

Nicholas raised his eyebrows, clearly impressed by the classes she was taking. He was hoping she would take necromancy classes so he would talk to her more.

"Anything else?" He asked when they finally reached her dorm. Scratch didn't know why, but he was drawn to the girl.

She hummed thinking of a response. That was the longest conversation she had with anyone in this academy. And despite knowing him for only one hour - she could say, he was super nice, but too confident. "Mind control and telekinesis."

"If you need someone to practice, give me the word and I'll be there." He smirked, scanning her features. She raised her eyebrows and nodded awkwardly. "Well... I'll see you around then." Nicholas sent her one last smile before disappearing in the hallway.

_

The academy was buzzing with rumors about Spellmans, especially Sabrina, who was rumored to join the school as a student. The late Edward Spellman, former High Priest of Academy's coven, was a supernatural genius. He was one of the most controversial warlocks in existence, the man married a mortal. Marriage between warlocks and mortals was and still is forbidden.

When Victoria heard the news that Sabrina Spellman was coming to the Academy, she couldn't wait to ask the girl questions about her father. She was fascinated by the Spellman's history.

As she sat down with a tray in her hands by an empty table, she heard a familiar voice calling her name. The girl turned her head and spotted Nicholas with a blonde girl by his side. He waved his hand and sent her a smile. Victoria waved back and went back to eating her food and doing homework.

"Is this seat taken?" Someone asked, but Victoria didn't even bother to look up to see who that was. She just shook her head and took a sip of her drink. "My name is Sabrina Spellman, nice to meet you."

Her gaze shifted from her book to the girl in front of her. She had blonde hair and was wearing a blue dress. On top of it she had red cardigan with black squares on it. Oh god... She was extremely beautiful.

"Victoria Gomez, nice to meet you too." She smiled and closed her book in hope of a normal conversation with the girl. "How do you like the academy so far?"

"It's not like Baxter High, but it's okay I guess." Sabrina replied, taking a sip from her glass.

"Sabrina Spellman..." Victoria heard a voice behind her back. Prudence. She rolled her eyes in annoyance and glanced at the blonde who was clearly uncomfortable with the weird sisters' presence. "We heard you didn't want to take your Dark Baptism, because you were in love with some mortal boy. Like father, like daughter." She faked a pout.

Victoria raised her eyebrows and sighed. "Don't be such a bitch, Prudence." The girl mumbled, playing with the food on her tray.

"Oh... so you're talking now?" She exclaimed. By the look on her face, Victoria could say that she was surprised. "Protecting half-breed? I wasn't expecting that from you."

"Let me walk you to your next class, it's ritual magic, right?" The girl got up from the table, hooking her eyes with Sabrina's. She grabbed her bag and without waiting for her response, pulled her up, holding her wrist.

"How did you know that it was ritual magic?" Sabrina asked, clearly confused.

The girl shrugged, leading the blonde through a long hallway, before stopping in front of black door. She sent her a sincere smile and stepped back. "You should be careful. The weird sisters aren't someone you want to mess with. Especially if you are a half-witch." She said.

"I'm not scared of them." Sabrina quickly replied and raised her head higher. "They will get bored of me."

Victoria shook her head. "They won't unless someone stops them." The girl spoke, fixing the bag on her shoulder. "See you later, Sabrina."
