"Hello?" Charlie had his head tilted, looking at Marcus as he was spaced out and unaware of his surroundings. "Huh?" Marcus snapped out of it, and looked up at Charlie. He was startled, then fell out of his chair. "AHHH-" Marcus screamed as he fell.  He rubbed his head as he sat up, and he heard something crack. "Holy mother of god.." Charlie said, worried, "Are you alright?" "..." Marcus was silent, then finally spoke, "I.. I think I broke something from that fall. I mean.. maybe not, but.. Look, I injured my ribs the other day.. and I think that fall made it worse.." Marcus has clutching his torso in pain, as a single tear rolled down his face.

Charlie had never seen Marcus cry, so this was definitely a first. "I.. I don't know what to do, I.. I've never encountered something like this before." Charlie said, worried once more.  Charlie then ran off to a nurse that he saw in the corner of his eye. "W-wait, I-" Marcus sighed, "Could've at least helped me up.." Addy was walking into the room when she saw him on the floor. "PFT- why're you on the floor?" Addy laughed to herself, then stopped when Marcus groaned in pain. "i fell because I was startled, then I cracked my ribs, that's alright with you?" Marcus looked pissed off at the question, obviously, he was not okay!

Charlie rushed back as he pulled the nurse's hand. "Quick! He fell and I believed he cracked his ribs.." Charlie had wiped a few tears off his face from all the crying he had done in the nurses office.  "Hey dear, I know you're in pain, but you're going to have to try to get up for me, okay?" The nurse said as she smiled. She was trying to stay calm and not panic, Marcus could tell. "Alright.. I'll try." Marcus managed to smile slightly, as the nurse and Charlie helped pull him up. "It's okay dear, just sit down, and I'll call the ambulance. About 12 minutes later, the ambulance had arrived, and they loaded Marcus inside. "Will he be okay?" Charlie said, as he cried. "He'll be fine, we'll make sure of it. Would you two kids like to come with us and accompany your friend?" The ambulance driver said. The ambulance driver was actually Charlie's uncle, Aaron. "Hold on tight kids, this is going to be a long ride."
