************Very important note: I have two wattpad accounts, one StayWeirdKids and this one. This story was previously called The Arrogant & Protective Bad Boy. I switched it up a little and decided to put it up on both of my accounts. The story got over 200 reads, but I didn't think it was that good and wanted to edit it. If you guys liked the other one better, please let me know. I'm really trying to put my story out there. Check out my other wattpad account. It's more popular then this one, haha. xx************

I stepped out of my high school congratulating myself for surviving my final week of this hell hole. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was dreading Monday morning. I still remember my older brothers jumping on my bed to wake me up and me screaming bloody murder thinking some creepy ass rapist was trying to abduct me.
But no. It was just my brothers giving me a heart attack.
Chuckling at the memory, I think about what the future holds.
You see, today is moving day.
Let me explain, after my mother passed away four years ago, my dad was working his butt off to put dinner on the table. My dad majored in criminal justice, deciding he wanted to be a cop way back when. He’s great at what he does, so great that he got promoted. The promotion caused him to have to look for a house a couple towns over. The plus side about moving was that I’ll go to the same school as my cousins and I can get out of this place. However, the downside is that it’s been three weeks into the school year. I blame fate for deciding to make my family and I move after the first official day of school. Just my luck.
My two older brothers and my dad were already down at the new house. My brothers didn’t have to go to school today. I did, however, because apparently knocking over the library shelves when I was supposed to be in class was such a crime. It wasn’t my fault that my friend and I were passing a ball back and forth and there just happened to be a book shelf there. Nor was it my fault that it just so happened to fall on another book shelf, which fell on another book shelf and so on until all the books were scattered around the library like some damn hurricane wiped em’ all out.
Getting caught up in my thoughts, I didn’t realize that I was almost done walking over to the school parking lot. Looking around, there was no place to sit so I casually leaned on a lamppost.
Sighing impatiently and debating on whether I should give the little dweeb a call, I pulled my phone out dialing his number. I was about to press call when a red jeep suddenly stopped in front of me, making a screeching noise.
Jamie jumped out of the passenger seat before the car even officially stopped and engulfed me in a hug, literally knocking me over. “I love you. I love you. I love you!” Jamie shouted while squeezing the living daylights out of me.
“Can’t- breath-” I tried to make out while she was still strangling me by my waist. Did that even make sense? “Opps! Sorry,” she said while letting go of me, “I just missed my favorite cousin so much,” she winked while Dustin hopped out of the car and ran to me. I met him half way, and before I knew it I was picked up off the ground and being spun around before being placed gently back on the ground. His hands met my cheeks as he began to inspect me, turning my face from side to side curiously. Jamie was on her tippy toes, attempting to hover over Dustin’s shoulder, which was nearly impossible since he was about six foot, examining me just like her idiot brother was.
