I have been trying to get a good position on this old couch for the past hour my roommate being very concerned "y/n what are you doing.." Mindy asking me with a concerned face "trying to get a good position on this god damn couch!" I said getting to the door and slamming it shut and then I put my headphones in and just listened to some [insert liked singer], I loved tuning the world out it's what I did when I used to be a third wheel for.. Not gonna finish that sentence my tunes were then interrupted by a voice "hey y/n!" When I looked who it was I just began walking the other way hopefully they wouldn't follow me but alas here they are right in my face, I then put my headphones down "what do you want sir my girlfriend controls me and made me stop being friends with my best fucking friend, y'know the one friend who was with you in your deepest of problems, y'know the one friend who actually listened to all your problems while your 'girlfriend' was out their partying with whoever the fuck she's cheating on you with!" I continue walking back to the kitchen grabbing some alcohol on the way, I then went to a little private room that I only know of and began chugging my drink of choice, The burning sensation of alcohol going down my throat after almost finishing the bottle I was holding, I was very much aware I was sad drunk, my emotions that were present during the time I was drinking reflects on my emotions of the type of drunk I am, Somehow with the blurry mess of my vision I could see that Ethan was gone and it was just me and Mindy in the dorm "oh god y/n your sad drunk again, c'mere" she said holding her arms out while I ran to her arms, we laid on the couch while I told her my problems while she just listened.. then I was out like a light, I woke up once again on the couch my head on someone's lap, the said person was also asleep I looked up to see who it was it was, Ethan, I thought Mindy was the one who I was talking to last night but it was Ethan? "Ethan?" Just by saying his name he woke up "Huh? Oh y/n.. last night.." "shh! Just tell me why you were here last night?" "Oh it was because.. I thought about it. About us." "Finally.." "look y/n I'm so sorry, I was wrong and I was just so surprised that I actually got a girl, that I forgot about the girl who actually cared about me" "It's.. fine.. but you need to gain my forgiveness first..not just say sorry.. saying sorry won't cut it" "it's alright I get just to get my best friend back" don't you get it?! I then noticed what Mindy typed out 'I guess they made up, hope they start dating next!' My face started heating up "y'know what let's go out, just me and you" "w-what?" "C'mon!" 1 year later

"Y/n do you forgive me now?" "Of course you little twig" I say that smiling at his face and him smiling back "now that you have forgiven me, I wanna ask something.." "do you wanna be my girlfriend?" "Ofcourse, Laundry Detergent!" I hear a "YES!" In the corner of my ears sounding like the friend group's voices "It looks like we have fulfilled Mindy's wishes" "From now on all of my attention is on you" "as you should, and my attention is now all on you.."
