A/n pov:

After three days:

These three days pia engrossed herself in study so that she won't get thoughts about Samar... after that day she was really scared and wasn't going out except university.. thankfully in these days Samar did nothing.

Currently it was evening and pia was in her room when she heard male voice which she instantly recognised..

She got up from her bed and came downstairs to see harsh sitting on sofa while rubbing his head..

Pia felt sudden emotions of calmness, protection in front of him..

She went near him and he saw her

Harsh: hey pia...

He was also feeling happy seeing her again..ngl but he kinda missed her when he was on duty and he don't know why..
He usually goes to the mission and returns home but this time returning home had another reason...

finally seeing her standing in front of him..he felt like home

Pia: welcome back

Harsh: thanks...you didn't had any problem when I'm out right?

Suddenly pia remembered about Samar which made him shuddered that didn't went unnoticed by harsh..

Harsh: what happened pia? Is everything okay?

Pia: y-yeah...yeah I'm fine nothing happened to me..

She lied because she don't want harsh to get worried about her when he is doing so much for her already

Harsh wasn't completely convinced but he decided not to push further

Pia: anyways.. you must be tired..take rest..

Harsh: no pia I'm fine...I have to get back to police station too..

Pia pouted and said

Pia: uff ho how much you have to work harsh ji... don't you feel frustrated?

Harsh chuckled at her words and said

Harsh: it's my duty pia..so there is no chance of having frustration..I was well aware about the path I choosed so it doesn't affect me

Pia: whatever but you also needs rest.. don't push yourself too much

Harsh smiled at her words and said

Harsh: I'll try... thanks

Pia: no worries

She said giving big smile and harsh admired it

Harsh's thought: so pretty smile.. Just like an angel...

Time skips~
Next day:

Today pia and harsh were in the home..

Pia was studying when kamla called her name..

Pia: coming

She came downstairs where kamla was holding a tray of juice and sandwich

Kamla: pia give it to harsh who is in office as I have to buy some vegetables and the vendor is waiting outside..

Pia: okay okay you go on I'll give it to him

Kamla nodded and left that place

Pia: let's go pia..

And with that she went towards harsh's office room

Meanwhile~

Harsh was speaking angrily with someone on the phone

Harsh: idc what you do how you do or when you do I just want result A RESULT of this!!! And I swear if I found nothing then that day will be last day in your earth!!! Now go on!!

He cut the call and threw it on the floor angrily..He was angry that the last evidence against Samar Raut was destroyed by someone and he was clearly pissed off

While outside the door, pia was hearing everything and got little bit scared as she didn't saw his anger side before....

Pia's thought: oh god what should I do..he is clearly in bad mood

She was thinking when suddenly the door got opened and she flinched.
Harsh was standing there with a poker face but got softened when he saw pia..

Pia: t-that- I- here's your breakfast..

She gave the tray to him and Harsh was about to speak

Harsh: tha--

Pia: enjoy and bye

She ran away from there while he released a long sigh before going back to his office room

Meanwhile~

Pia was leaning on the door while pressing her hand neat her heart

Pia: damn my heart beat is still beating fast...

She went and sat on the bed and said

Pia: it's not your matter pia whether he get angry or sad..you are just here to study so focus on it..

At night:

It was around midnight when thunderstorms started roaring suddenly which made pia to opened her eyes..
