Chongyun walked into Xingqiu's room looking beat and tired.
"My dear Chongyun, what's wrong?" Xingqiu says looking up from his book.
Chongyun sighs, "Another scam. Someone told me that if I paid them 10,000 Mora, they would show me a house with an evil spirit. The house was empty"
Xingqiu's hands gripped his book harder, but his face remained passive.
"Dear friend, who has led you on such a goose chase? " He asked
"This man named Wanwen. Why?" Chongyun asked.
"Oh no reason. Why don't you rest here. It's quite a walk back to your place and you look exhausted."
A few hours later, after Chongyun fell asleep on Xingqiu's lounge chair, Xingqiu left through his window.

Mr. Wanwen was sitting outside, leafing through some old notes when he hears steps behind him.
"Are you Wanwen?" Xingqiu asked.
"I am!" He says getting up. "What can I do you for young man?"
"Firstly you can return the money you stole from my friend" he said crossing his arms.
Wanwen looked shocked at his words.
"S-stole? My child I'm sure... "
"Don't dare to mouth off to me or even try to lie! You may be able to fool Chongyun into giving up his money. I, on the other hand, am not as easily tricked." Xingqiu smiled. "You can't trick a trickster"
Xingqiu pulled out a silver sword, it's blade gleaming in the moonlight.
"So what will it be?" Xingqiu said.
Wanwen started sweating before trying to run. Xingqiu caught up to him and held the blade against his throat.
"Nuh uh." Xingqiu clicked his tongue. "Running wasn't an option"
Wanwen silently placed a bag of Mora in Xingqiu's hand. Xingqiu kept the blade against Wanwen while he looked through the bag.
"Excellent!" Xingqiu then turned and walked away.

"Here's your money back Chongyun." Xingqiu said the next morning, handing him the bag.
"Wha-how did you... "
"Don't worry about it." Xingqiu said, opening another book.
