Chapter 5: Friends with benefit

Tonight is really cold it wasn't that cold yesterday night so I didn't think of bringing a sweater or jacket or anything that would have helped in this embarrassing situation.

The bridge is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, Blake came to pick me up after I texted that I was ready to go. Luckily Blake is not as clueless as I am he is wearing a jacket a blue one like a spy uniform only the color is different but the style isn't, I would know since I have the same one but mine is black, He is also wearing a black glove. (Looks warm)

Why did I refuse him when he offered me his jacket am so stupid now am going to freeze to death because of my carelessness you are probably thinking I refused the jacket because I am kind-hearted and a good person but no that wasn't the reason behind it. I refused the jacket because I don't like the color blue and it wouldn't quite match the dress am wearing. Just great now my teeth are scattering uncontrollably, Why am I like this? 

I noticed Blake glance at him more than twice ( He is next to me) He must be thinking. "How can she not bring a jacket in this cold weather, have never met anyone sooooooo stupid," Am sure that is what his thinking.

Blake glanced at me again and to my surprise, He held my hand. I glanced at him. Another thing about me is I don't like being touched by people for so long and the limit is about a minute. It just annoyed me for some reason but right now I don't think I should be complaining especially when his hand is so warm or maybe it course of the glove no the glove should be cold since it's cold out but instead, it is warm does it have to do with his hands or something (Intreating)

 I glanced at him again. His pretty cute, I thought to myself and his eyes are really beautiful so much so that I can't help but stare, he might be the prettiest guy have seen and dated so far. I didn't even notice when he looked at me, smiling. I flinch and quickly turn away from his face. 

just great, now he cut me staring, so embarrassing. 

"If someone saw us like this holding hands, they would probably think we were a couple I wonder... wait--- Wait this route doesn't look right, "Is this the way to the bridge"? I asked.               I might have just been here for a few days but am sure this isn't the way to the bridge. 

"Shh, It's a surprise, Wait for it, and... there it is," Blake said. And that was when I saw the most beautiful view in New York City (I think? The light from where we're watching the view is like Christmas light and the night is so peaceful that I can fall asleep just right there, this might not be the bridge I was looking forward to but this sure is the most eye-catching everlasting view I have ever seen. (I am glad I came with Blake) 

"This is where I usually go at night, Do you like it?" Blake said smiling at me. "It's beautiful," I said glancing at the view again.

"Yeah, it sure is beautiful," Blake said looking at me with a smile," I blushed. His soo damn cute. Maybe I am into cute guys. No way one view can't make me fall in love with him ( But the view was sooo pretty) Besides am still trying to figure out what type of feelings I have for Alex.. talking about Alex I kinda miss him but am still mad at him for this evening so I didn't tell him I was going out tonight.

We watch the view for a little longer (One hour) we sit down on the blanket Blake brought I guess he noticed how cold I was since he asked me if I wanted to lean on him and I did and am glad I did his chest was warmer and comfortable than I anticipated especially in this cold weather and I can hear his heart racing, fast. I laughed, hard and made fun of him a little then he became all flustered which made me laugh harder and it was kinda cute too. 

"Let me take you home Juliana It getting late,"(It's 10:00 pm) Just when I was going to say yes my phone rang I ignored it then it rang again. "Don't you want to answer that (It might be important)," Blake asked looking at my phone worriedly.
