Hundred thousand years ago a new Homo came to town,
With fire and wheel the old food chain broke down.
His self arrogance was hidden from none,
He decided to call himself the almighty "sapien".
He invaded space and kept track of past,
He made nuclear weapons and enjoyed a big blast.
But after years and years when he did realize,
The planet he "owned" was paying the price.
He changed he understood he gave a look,
He asked he listened he read a book,
What other option did he had,
The ending was close and seemed rather sad!
He began talking about words he earlier didn't knew,
Like pollution, sustainable, recycle and renew.
He thanked God and started to cherish,
The resources he had when they were about to perish.
He kept faith in his innovative ability and brains,
Since he had already discovered computers and planes.
Just as he found a robot for worker and a car for horse.
He now has to find a alternative energy source,
It is the battle of honor pride and survival,
To again battle the time and ensure a revival.
The future will hold how he handles this situation,
Can he justify his ownership or will there be a super sapien.
