Chapter 9- The Wagon Janet's Draggin
Sitting alone in the law office's waiting area, Janet remained impatiently wedged in her seat for her upcoming job interview, unaware that she was being watched across the room by the youthful receptionist she'd spoken to earlier. Not unlike Janet a year and a half ago, the receptionist looked to be of college age, 5'5 with long and wavy dark hair, a slender stomach, perky bosoms, and a slender hourglass frame. Probably the daughter of one of the lawyers working in the firm, the receptionist looked like she could have been one of Janet's younger sisters.
However, that fact had been lost on Janet who'd seemed more concerned with chowing down the complementary donuts in the waiting area and playing on her phone, than observing her surroundings. Now only one donut remained, and Janet appeared mortally locked in a staring contest with it, mulling over the pros and cons of finishing off the last of the delightful treats. In Janet's mind it was still an open question of whether or not she'd indulge in one more cream-filled donut, yet in the mind of the onlooking young receptionist, she was willing to bet money the fatty waiting to be interviewed would soon give in to her gluttonous desires.
In the six months since Janet's 23rd birthday the 225-pound overly nourished young lady had continued her girthy expansion and fattened into an ever more voluptuous and lazy 285-pound portly behemoth. With a BMI of 47.42, Janet would have to lose 105lbs just to be considered overweight for her height, a fact Janet would have preferred not to have learned from her last doctor's visit.
Sitting as she was, Janet felt out of place. The seats in the office were way too small to accommodate her wide hips and thick butt cheeks. She'd had to wedge her booty between the arms of the chair to truly fit, but it was a tight squeeze, so tight Janet felt a little stuck.
Then there was her 'professional attire' constricting her overflowingly plump figure. Her tight-fitting high-waisted skirt was digging into the mushy area around her belly button, cutting her big belly in half. The lower portion of her bulbous gut placed additional stress on her skirt, the upper portion visibly strained the buttons of her sleeveless, white, button-down blouse. As if her overly inflated breasts needed any help in doing just that.
It had been two months since Janet had left Hooters. Two months since she'd held a job. Two months since she'd had any real reason to keep herself active apart from occasional job interviews like this one, and it showed. With her hair thrown into a conservative bun, it was obvious Janet's face had grown fuller. As she stared down the sole remaining donut on the coffee table in front of her, her mouth watered, and she licked her lips. Her tummy was growling, her willpower was waning.
Leaning forward to grab the final donut, Janet's effort was thwarted by her wide hips and overly expansive backside grinding her momentum to a halt against the arms of the waiting room chair.
'Stupid chair...' Janet vindictively thought to herself, as she tried standing upward rather than just leaning forward to get out of the chair.
"Ugh!" Janet growled struggling to free her bottom-heavy figure from the confines of her seat to no avail. Using her arms, Janet tried for a third time only to lose her breath from the effort and mutter to herself, "You have got to be kidding me... This isn't happening..."
Realizing she was well and truly stuck, embarrassment overcame Janet's emotions; however, before she could ask the receptionist for help, the waiting room door opened, and in walked a tall women clothed in a professional yet undeniably cute dress with long blonde hair, thin features and a big bust.
Leaning back in her seat, and trying to play her situation cool, Janet chided her friend, "Cutting it kinda close don't y'think Delaney?"
Turning and recognizing Janet's lard-filled body, Delaney responded with the same passive aggressive tone, "I didn't want to show up too early, cause you know, I don't wanna look desperate for the job."
