Hey everyone, thank you for all the love you have given the Mistake Series. I hope this final chapter matches your expectations. I will take a small break after this, but knowing myself, I'll probably be back on Monday only. Your love and support make me so happy, so I'll definitely try to write more. Anyways I won't bore you anymore.

Lets start

The wedding day,

It was afternoon time the wedding celebrations were still on, Shiv and Nimirt hadn't seen each other since the incident, mostly because Nimirt kept avoiding him.

Right now, Shiv was walking towards Nimrit's room when he spotted her walking in his direction, "Namya! Namya!" He called out, but she just passed him as if he didn't exist.
Shiv ran up to her and grabbed her hand he pulled her into a room that was close by. It was Stan's suite, and since he was down at the function, it was currently empty. Shiv locked the door and turned towards Nimrit she tried to get away, so he pushed her up against a wall and caged her between his arms.
"Ek baar sunle," he pleaded.
But she didn't respond, but he continued either way. "Yeh sab shuru hua when we kissed.." he started but was interrupted by Nimrit, "which was a mistake, " she said.
"No, it wasn't," Shiv argued.
"It was for me," she said sternly, "really, was it a mistake for you?" Shiv asked, his eyes now searching for some emotion in hers.
" You know what the problem is, I love you after everything you did. After everything I went through, I still love you, but do you?" She asked, looking right into his eyes. She was really confused by his behavior.
"Tujhe pata hai Namya..." He trailed off.
"Nahi mujhe kuch nahi pata mujhe sirf itna pata hai ki tujhe kiss karna was the biggest mistake I ever made. Tere actions kehte hai tu mujhse pyaar karta hai, par jab bolne ka time aata hai tu bhag jata hai, I'm sick of being confused.
You came into my life to teach me a lesson, and guess what lesson learned! I'm not getting my heart broken by the same guy over and over again." She said firmly.

"So one last time, Shiva and I don't want your actions. I need your words...do you love me?" She asked as a lone tear made its way down her red cheeks.
Shiv sighs deeply he touched his forehead to hers and placed a hand on her cheek, he caressed it softly then ran a thumb over her lower lip, he sighed deeply but didn't look up at her, "I'm sorry " he said, and with that he walked away.

Nimrit slid down the wall and broke down for the millionth time. She knew his answer, but she still had some hope. Was she that bad? That he wouldn't love her back. It had been around 15 mins since Shiv left, Nimrit was sprawled on the floor a crying broken mess, just then Sumbul barged in she held her close to her chest and tried to calm her bestfriend down. Shiv informed her about what happened and asked her to take care of Nimrit.

The wedding began, after helping Nimrit sumbul convinced her to attend the wedding for Stan who she considered her brother. Nimrit put on some makeup to hide the dullness on her face.

She stood at the wedding, and as she watched Stan and Buba exchange vows, her heart sank. She wanted that so bad for herself, but was she capable of ever loving again.
The reception began soon, Nimrit packed her bags, and she decided to leave tonight so she didn't have to face anyone. Just then, Sumbul walked in, "yeh sab kya hai? Where are you going?".

"Back home," she said nonchalantly, "Sumbul, I can't take it anymore. It hurts," and with that, she slid down on the floor in pain.

"I'm sorry, but I can't hide this anymore," Sumbul said. "He loves you, Nimrit. He really loves you." Nimrit looked up in shock, "Please stop," she begged while sobbing.
"Woh shayad tumse bhi zyada pyaar karta hai isiliye itna bada sacrifice karne keliye tayar hogaya"
Nimrit looked up with wide eyes when sumbul told her the truth.

Nimrit was at the terrace looking eagerly at the door, then walked in the man she thought she knew so well, but he was hiding his pain and taking the blame for her all this while.
