Rainy Road trips

The next morning Prue got up early to go see Grams. 

She walked downstairs to the kitchen and was surprised to see that all three of her younger sisters were sitting that the kitchen table. 

"What are you guys doing up?" She asked. 

"We figured we could all try a little harder to be a family. We are going with you to see Grams." Piper said with a smile. 

"Are you sure? You guys know she's going to be hooked up to a lot of machines, right?" Prue asked. 

"Yeah, but it's not going to be easy for you either. Grams would want us all there." Phoebe said. 

"How are you feeling?" Prue asked drawing her attention to Phoebe. 

"I'm okay. The heartache is worse than the hangover. I can't believe Cole would do that to me. I made some decisions I shouldn't have last night. I'm sorry if I ruined any of you guy's plans." Phoebe said sadly. 

"You didn't ruin anything! We are sisters. Thats what we have each other for." Piper said with a smile.

"Paige? You're oddly quiet this morning." Prue said looking at Paige who seemed very distracted. 

"Paige!" Phoebe said to get her attention. 

Paige quickly snapped out of her thoughts to see her sisters staring. 

"Huh?" She asked. 

"I said you're oddly quiet this morning." Prue repeated. 

"I just didn't get enough sleep." Paige said unconvincingly. 

"This place is like two hours away. We should get going." Piper said. 

The car ride was off to a good start. Piper and Prue talked in the front while Paige and Phoebe whispered in the back. 

"Prue, can you pull over?" Paige asked. 

"Why?" Prue asked. 

"I need a cigarette or I'm going to get sick." Paige said. 

"Seriously Paige?" Prue asked annoyed. 

"Seriously Prue." Paige mocked. 

"Ehh I could use one too." Phoebe added.

Prue groaned and pulled over. 

Paige and Phoebe quickly jumped out of the car. 

"They need help for their addictions." Prue scolded. 

About five minutes later, they hopped back in. 

They started driving again. 

"How are things with Andy?" Phoebe asked. 

Prue was about to flip out like she normally would but remembered that they were trying to get along. 

"We are good. He randomly brought me flowers the other day." Prue answered. 

"That's so sweet." Piper said. 

"Yeah." Phoebe said sadly. 

"I think Grams will be happy to see that we are all getting along." Prue said. 

"Yeah, if only she knew the half of it." Piper said. 

Paige and Phoebe looked at each other. 

"Guys look how dark the sky is over there." Phoebe said pointing towards Pipers window. 

"Thats not good. It looks like a storm." Prue said. 

"Oh no, should we pull over?" Piper asked anxiously.  

"We will wait awhile. I don't want to sit here for nothing." Prue said. 

Someone's phone started ringing.

"Mine." Phoebe said. 

She clicked the ignore button.

"It's just Cole." She said. 

It rang again. 

This time she answered. 

"What?" she asked. 

"No, I don't believe that." 

"You're lying." 

"I'm out of town. We will talk when I get back. " Phoebe said hanging up. 

It had just started to rain. 

Prue kept driving. 

Loud thunder could be heard that scared all four of them. 

Rain came pouring down. 

"Do you see anywhere I can pull over at?" Prue asked. 

"Not yet." Piper said. 

"Oh! There's a liquor store if you go up ahead to the stop light and make the left." Phoebe said. 

"How do you know?" Prue said. 

"I've been there before." Phoebe said. 

"With who?" Prue asked. 

"Doesn't matter." Phoebe said nonchalantly. 

"Paige?" Prue asked. 

Paige pretended like she didn't hear a word. 

Prue did as she was told and pulled into the parking lot. 

"We are gonna be here awhile." She said.
