Mari Aquilarios's origins are unknown but she claims to be of another timeline. She is the daughter of Mina Aquilarios and unknown father. She is an Imperial like she is but also Daedric. Given she transferred to the current timeline since an entity named Watcher moved her there.
She has been staying there and felt at home the moment she attended a school in the city where her mother lived.
But during her time there, she gained attention from Hydra as they wanted to use her blood to help increase strengths in their Winter Soldiers and there was times she escaped after they tried getting a sample from her DNA.
Hydra still keeps trying to pursue and failed given that she is quick with her wits. But in return of them trying to get inside her head, she creates apparitions of their darkest dreams as a distraction and a way for her to escape. Upon finding out about this, Mina tracked her daughter down and fought against Hydra agents and got her daughter out of there.
Still being trained under Doctor Strange's watch, Mari still had a lot to learn.
Given she is Daedric and also immortal like her mother is, Mari still is learning how her powers work. She brings nightmares and worst fears as apparitions in a way to make the person she is fighting face their fears and a distraction for her to either defeat them or flee.
She sees the disdain even in the dreams the agents of Hydra and would turn it against them which can cause them to reconsider themselves in who they serve. Given her darker self can often make her cave and let it take over.
Mari is also a good markswoman as she learned to use guns from during her time in the alternate universe. Archery is also one of her best skills and has the intellect to be resourceful.
Since she came to the current timeline, it made it change and her adjusted to living in it. The TVA made assumptions that she is the Loki variant but it has not been proven. There's still yet to tell her story and it's just begun. She also has a cat named Minerva and a clannfear named Clanny. She's still thinking of a better name for it.
Mari is also good friends with Mephista's daughter Ange-Rose Moreau and is even attending a university in France*.
