Buddie (Buck x Eddie)

"Hey Addy" Hen says restocking the ambulance

"Hey Hen, where's buck?" I say looking around

"Um I think he's"

"Right here mother fucker" buck screams while jumping on me

Me and Buck have known each other way before even thinking about being a fire fighter we were friends in high school and both decided to be fire fighters though Buck almost got fired early on we both have had a great time here

"Evan get off of me" I say while trying to push him off of me

"Lighten up sunshine just trying to have some fun"

"I'm going to put my stuff away, and where's chim?"

"Um locker room maybe" hen says from the ambulance

I walk over to the locker room and here someone walking around but I'm texting so I don't bother looking up assuming it's Chim I open up the door and set my bag down

"Hey chim"

I didn't get a response back so I look up and am met with a unfamiliar face

"You're not chim" I say very confused

"No, I'm Eddie Eddie Diaz"

" Nice to meet you I'm Adeline or Addy" I say while sticking my hand out

After we shake hands I look over and the rest of the team is just staring in I finish putting my stuff away and then I join the rest of the team Eddie follows me

"Hey guys this is Eddie Diaz" Bobby says very happy

"Hey guys" Eddie says awkwardly

"I see you've already met Addy, this Hen Chim and Buck"

"Hey Eddie" hen says

"Welcome" Chim says

And Buck just looks at him and then at me and I give him a look because he hasn't said anything

"Oh um yeah welcome I guess" Buck says walking away

I walked away planning on finding Buck and talking to him but the bell went off we all got our gear and got in the truck (let's pretend the back of the truck has 6 seats instead of 5)

"So Eddie what we're you doing before you decide to be a fire fighter" I say breaking the silence

"I was in the army, I served multiple tours in Afghanistan" he says looking over at me

"Wow guys we have a big hero here" Buck says sounding mad and offended

Everyone just looks over at him like he's crazy

"Buck what's wrong" I say knowing I'm the person that he trusts the most in this whole station

" Nothing Addey" he says looking out the window

"Buck I've known you to long to not know when something is wrong"

"Addey just stop"

I end up just leaving him alone and sitting quietly for the rest of the ride we get to the call and this dude fell on a air compressor Buck was trying to deflate him when Eddie gave him advice so he could do less damage to the dude and Buck got mad again

We get back to the station and I go upstairs grab something to eat and sat at the small and Eddie comes up and sits across from me.

"Hey" I say while shoving food in my mouth

"Hey I have a question"

"What's up"

"Does Buck not like me"

"I don't think it's you, he's girlfriend just left the country and he's mad about it"

"Oh ok thanks"

"Yup"

I decided to get a work out in a little bit after I eat. I walk into the equipment area and Eddie Buck and Chim are there I decided to deadlift Buck gets up to take some pictures of himself like he always does

"Hey man you're in the wrong lighting" Eddie says looking at Buck

"Some of us don't need lighting to look good" Buck says with lots of attitude

"Hey man what's your problem" Eddie says coming up to Buck

"You know what you, you are my problem. You come up in here like you've been here for years, you're talking to all my friends like you've known them forever maybe you should back off and let us get to know you first before you get comfortable"

"I'm sorry for stepping all over your ground but you need to calm down" Eddie says walking away

"Buck what the fuck" I say walking up to him

"Addey come on you've gotta agree he's way to comfortable here"

"Yes Buck he's comfortable here that's good, but just because Abby left you doesn't mean you have to take it out on the rest of us especially the new guy"

I walk away and go up stairs with Eddie I sit next to him on the couch

"Hey I'm sorry about buck I don't know what's wrong with him"

"It's fine I didn't know I was being to comfortable here"

"You're not, he's just not good with change"

We sit on the couch just talking and laughing about different things I get up and go towards the kitchen buck is sitting alone we he sees me he looks down I just walk away
