Chapter 1.5| The past

My hands are starting to shake and I try to ignore  the person.
"It's you right? Fatty? Seems like you lost weight"
I look behind, it's Jungkook.
"Sorry I don't know where you are talking about. Weird to call a stranger fatty" I smile and go back to reading.
"So you aren't Dani?"
"No, I am not" I answer and start plugging in my samsung buds.
I feel uncomfortable, I know he's still watching.
I am afraid, I don't know what to do. A part of me wanna run away but the other part of me tells me to stay and enjoy my lunch.
Why should I need to run away for someone like that? I look pretty and cute and I didn't do anything wrong. We aren't in school anymore so he can't treat me that way again.
I finish my chapter & my lunch just in time because I got a call from Minji.

"Hi Dani! I'm ready, where are you?"
"I'm in the lunchroom but I can go to you!"
"No worries, I need to lunch as well. I am meeting you there"
And she hangs up.

I hear Minji running towards me "Dani, Dani my first week went so good!! How was the gym?"

I hear him laughing behind me "I see, Dani"
I got a weird look from Minji, I shrug.
"It went oke, it's a nice gym" I tell her.
"Really!? You should go with me whenever you feel like!!" Minji smiles.
"Then I should get your phone number so I can help you next time as well" I hear him laughing
"Dani, do you know him?"
I wanted to say no but he beat me to it.
"Dani and I are old friends" tells Jungkook while giving me a hug from behind.
I freeze. Next time I run away. Why is he here in the first place? This was a building for idols..

"Ah I remember I had to go somewhere, sorry" I stand up as fast as I could and grabbed my stuff.
Minji grabs my arm. "Why? Are you alright?" She asks.
"Yes I just need to go to the bathroom and go for a little walk" I whisper. "Alright I'll meet you outside" she nods and let my arm go.

"Bye Dani, was nice to see u after such a long time" I hear Jungkook saying.
I start walking faster and faster, went to the bathroom and start breathing fast. I wash my face and try to calm down. There comes another girl from the bathroom "are you alright?" She asks and I suddenly start crying "No, I saw someone from the past and now I am afraid"
Most of the time I don't talk to strangers but I can't tell Minji about it, I needed to talk to someone.... The girl suddenly hugs me "It's oke, you are looking good and I don't believe that you can hurt someone so if that person is annoying ignore it. You need to focus on yourself" she tells me with a soft voice.
"I'm sorry for this, I am usually not like that. My name is Dani, nice to meet you. Thank you for your kind words" I tell her with a smile while trying to dry my eyes.
"It's oke, I totally understand you! My name is Haerin it's nice to meet you as well!"

Haerin grabs her phone and hand it over to me "Can I have your number? Let's be friends!"
"Uhh oke" I answer and grab her phone. I put my number in it and gave it back.
"If you ever wanna hang out or feel like this again don't forget to text me!"  She says and walks away.
I stare in the mirror, I got this. Let's ignore Jungkook. He can't take away my life, my friends ever again.
