The Paths

"Eren, are you okay?" Mikasa sat next to him with concern on her face. "No, all this is happening because my sister has lost her mind. Greta used to have a positive outlook on the world, but now she wants to destroy it." Tears slid down his face because he was worried about his sister and because his spirits were breaking. "I don't want to be the one to kill Greta. She's the only family I have left."
Mikasa touched his face, "I'm so sorry, Eren." She hugged him and he cried on her shoulder, hugging her back. Mikasa couldn't fault him for being scared and sad, because he loved his sister and he didn't want her to die.
"Maybe we can try to convince her to stop the Rumbling," she suggested, still hugging Eren.

Suddenly, the Scouts were transported to the Paths, the Coordinate where Greta stood. It wasn't young adult Greta that stood before them, it was eight year old Greta standing next to Ymir Fritz.
Greta's eyes were the same bright grey as Ymir's. She stood motionless like a ghost.
"Greta!" All the Scouts exclaimed with relief. Eren was the fastest in the group, because he was desperate to see his sister. Jean was the closest behind him. "Greta, we're coming!"
The group noticed something strange, when they were about to reach Greta, they ran around in a circle.

All of the sudden, young adult Greta appeared in front of them. She was still standing with a blank expression, but this time her eyes were bright green again.
"I have no intention of stopping the Rumbling. The plan is already put into motion. We can't just sit here and let the enemy win. They have pushed us around for far too long and I have had enough. Too many of our comrades have died by their hand." The girl looked around at her friends with a creepy smile, "If you want me to stop, then you're going to have to kill me."
Greta looked at Eren and her face brought back some expression and tears, and she spoke normally, "I'm so sorry, big brother. I'm so sorry."
She released her friends out of the Paths and then she disappeared.
The group were back on the plane. All of them were confused and heartbroken that Greta was still going down this path of violence and destruction.
"She said the only way to stop the Rumbling is to kill her," Eren lamented.
