Ughh why now today of all days. I was so not in the mood to go to school but I have to if I want to graduate.

I hopped out of bed and walked into my closet and took out my black oversized hoodie and blue Jean shorts and blue and black Nike converse to match.
I walked into the bathroom and stood in front of my mirror my black hair seemed longer it already passed my waist and my butt and I liked it. My blue green eyes stood out more, all in all I felt beautiful today and ready to take what today had to offer.

I hopped into the shower and the warm water cascaded down my back instantly relaxing. I would have stayed longer but I had school and Zack was coming to pick me up so I had to hurry because I didn't know what time he wanted to arrive. I quickly brushed my teeth and brushed my hair before tying it in a tight pony tail. I walked out the bathroom and put my clothes on before unplugging my phone and walking downstairs.

I was surprised to see mom. I thought she had a morning shift oh well must've been changed.

Hey mom I said while hugging her from behind.

Hi sweetums you ready for school. She said while making her coffee.

Yeah. Zack's coming to pick me up.

Zack?? She asked probably confused about who Zack is.

I was about to explain when I heard honking from outside. Umm... Mom I'll explain later but right now I've got to go.

Yeah yeah,hurry or you'll be late.

Bye mom. I said pulling her into a hug.

I walked out of the house and into Zack's car.

Sup Cleo. Zack said not even sparing me a glance. Ouch that kinda hurt. What were you expecting a smile, don't be silly my subconscious mocked.

Hi. I muttered feeling down already and I can't explain why.

We rode in silence till we got to school. I was about to step out of the car when Zack said cleo I want to give you something. I could feel the stares of other students on me probably wondering who the girl inside Zack Rivera's car was.

Cleo, Cleo, Zack said snapping his fingers in my face. Cleo you kinda zoned out for a bit.

Oh I'm so sorry I said feeling heat spread across my face. You wanted to give me something.

Yeah umm he reached for the glove compartment and brought out a daggar. Woah not what I was expecting.

Cleo I want you to have this. It's for protection, carry it every where you go okay don't ever forget it, it's for your own safety.

Ughh fine but I'm pretty sure I don't need it.

Ohh I'm sure you will he said with a silly smirk on his face and for some reason I wanted to kiss him.

Umm Zack we better get out the bell rung already. Just realizing that we were late.

Oh s**t yeah come on. He pulled my hand and dragged me into the school. The halls were already empty by the time we got to the entrance Zack took me to my first class and I was surprised how he knew.

We have the same periods in the morning they change after lunch time. He said as if reading my thoughts.
