Chapter 2

6:14pm Aonung was in his bed with Neteyam both of them were sleeping, A ringtone coming out from Neteyam's phone started ringing loudly both of them woke up by the sound of it, Neteyam picked up the phone and see Neytiri's contact, He accepted the call

"Neteyam where are you, Are you with your boyfriends house again? by any chance can you pls come home we need to talk." -Neytiri
"Why do want to talk about?" -Neteyam
"It's about a guy. Just pls come home so that we can discuss this easily." -Neytiri
"Yes mother." -Neteyam said while nervous

Aonung overheard they're conversation and went up to Neteyam

"Can i come?" -Aonung
"Sorry i think my mom just wants me and her discussing, I will see you next week." -Neteyam
"Well.. can i atleast drive you home?" -Aonung
"Okay .. thank you ma love." -Neteyam
"No problem anything for you." -Aonung

Aonung was in his car waiting for Neteyam to finish changing, Finally Neteyam quickly got in Aonung's car and rushed to Neteyam's house

"Aonung slow down" -Neteyam
"oh?" -Aonung said smirking
"Shut up crackhead you're driving!!" -Neteyam said to Aonung while he laughed

A few minutes passed they both arrived at Neteyam's house

"See you next week ma love, BE CAREFU-" Aonung
"Be careful, yes i will be see you nung" -Neteyam said while smiling at him and Aonung smiled back

Aonung then left, Neteyam rang the door and Kiri opened it

"Brother where have you been these past 2 days? Dad and mom are worried for you." -Kiri said
"I was at Aonung's, Where is mother?" -Neteyam
"she's upstairs" -Kiri
"Okayy thank you Kiri" -Neteyam

Neteyam took off his shoes and he immediately ran upstairs, He knocked on Neytiri's door but there was no response

"KIRI?" -Neteyam said yelling
"YEAH?" -Kiri
"Mom isn't in the room" -Neteyam
"What? i just saw her walk in her room" -Kiri
"i'll go find her" -Neteyam

Neteyam went downstairs and looked for his mom in the backyard and saw her and his dad talking to somebody else, He hid beside a table and hearing their whole conversation, Neteyam's heart stopped

"If you give what my son wants i will spare your lives." -unknown
"You demon. Just because you have money doesn't mean you can pay someone else's life."-Neytiri
"okay what are you trying to say here? Selling my own sons body bc your son wants him? First of all he already has his lover and second i won't agree to what you say.. Zihnli." -Jake
"Well then.. let me pay for your coffins." -Zihnli

"Father!" -Nihll
"Nihll? what are you doing here?"- Zihnli
"Well? did they agree? I can't wait, Father." -Nihll
"Be patient, These peasants don't want their generation to continue.." -Zihnli
"I'll give you two 24 hours, You better give me an answer." -Zihnli
"fuck.." -Jake said mumbling
"Calm ma Jake, we can figure this out." -Neytiri

Jake sighed and went inside, Neteyam was sitting behind the table there looking shocked, He couldn't believe to what he just heard, He let out a small tear while touching his heart spot to calm him down, He began to breathe loudly.

"Teyam what's wrong?" -a familiar voice Neteyam heard, It was Tuk
"Tuk.." -Neteyam hugged Tuk
"what is it? is everything okay?" -Tuk
"Everything is fine, I was just jogging so i took a break and breathe." -Neteyam
"Huh? you take a break behind a table?" -Tuk said
"Oh uhm yea! i sometimes do." -Neteyam said as he stood up and walked Tuk inside

Jake and Neytiri were in the couch zoning out, Not knowing what to do.

"We have to leave. Far away from this place, We cannot let Neteyam hurt." -Neytiri
"I.. i think it's a great idea." -Jake
"we have to pack now Ma Jake, I can't lose my boy" -Neytiri said with a croaky voice
"I know." -Jake said as he went upstairs

Neteyam quietly got upstairs with Tuk

"oh eywa.. what do i do.." -Neteyam
"Teyam i'm sleepy.." -Tuk said while rubbing her eyes
"come here let's go to your room." -Neteyam
"But i wanna sleep here with you! i've been getting nightmares when u left and slept at Aonung's house.." -Tuk said (😭❤️)

Neteyam carrie Tuk to his bed and sang her favourite songs, After a while Tuk fell asleep while Neteyam was seating on the bed beside Tuk, Overthinking.
