dreams and hopes and nightmares, oh my!

dream

it was just a dream,
they all say that but what if it comes true?

I was still awake when I was dreaming
it was awfully weird
I was sitting on the couch when I heard a bang!
no one else heard it...
it was a little suspicious at first
I went to the kitchen
nothing
I went into the garage
nothing
so I come back in and
BANG!
it sounded as if it was right above my head
I go to the attic now
still, like the other times, nothing
what was making that noise?

I wake up from my day dream and realize that the banging
was the trees
on the roof

do I feel stupid?
hell yea I do!
