It was a cold month December in Snezhnaya none was out. None wants to freeze to death from the sheer cold. I for one don't want to go out in the snow but mom makes me to go away to school. The place doesn't even own a heater.
"Mom why do I have to go out in the snow storm just to go to class?" I said as my mom puts a scarf around my neck.
"Schools is school y/n..." she says as she finishes putting the scarf around my neck.
"Fine fine...can I get hot coco when I come home?" I said as I move the scarf down from my face, I look over at mom as she nods helping my little brother put on his snow boots.
Once me and him are done she opens the front door letting the cold come in the house. "DAMN ITS FRIZZING MOM, you sure we have to head to school??" I say holding my little brothers hand. "Yes y/n now shoo" she said scooting me and my brother out the front door closing it. I sigh as I look at my brother he looks up at me as his nose slowly getting pink from the cold.
I bend down and cover his nose. He squints as if he smiled. As him and I walk in the two feet of snow my brother let's go as I turn around he had to stop for a second and catch his breath. Once he looks up at me he holds his hand out as I grab it as we continue to walk to school. After a few minutes we make it to the front gates we walk in and open the giant doors.
As we walk in we see people in sweat shirts and bomber jackets and snow boots on. I take my scarf off as I turn to my brother seeing him take his hat off. I bend down to his level and hug him as kiss his head. "I'll see you later okay? I'm just upstairs if you need me k?" I said as he nods running off to join his friends. I smile as I take my gloves off feeling the cold touch my hands. I sigh as I stuff them in my pocket as I head upstairs to the the senior class rooms.
As I open the door I walk in to see some of my friends sitting down talking to each-other one noticed me and waved soon the others wave. "Hey y/n!" One said as I came over and sat down in my seat. "Heya, what's up" I said taking off my puffy jacket. "Nothin we just got here..did you see the two feet or snow?" One said another shook her head. "Dude my parents had to shovel four feet of snow!" Everyone gasps as they start to talk about the snow. I sigh as I shake my head. "Snows snow you gotta eat it" they all laugh and continue to talk. After a while the teacher walks in and starts the class.
After two classes it was lunch heading to the cafeteria I see my brother sitting eating hot soup and blowing on it. I walk over to him and tap his shoulder. He turns to look at me and smiles. "Hey bro" I said as he waved at me and looks at the soup then back at me. "Yeah I'll get some soon I wanted to say hello" he nods and waved. "Hehe I'll see you later" I said walking away and heading to the lunch line.
After a while I make it to where my friends were sitting and so I take a sip of the soup I accidentally burnt my tongue for a second. I flinch as my friend looks at me and laughs, I stare at her as I stick my toung out at her she laughs again.
Sitting in class is there of the window seeing all the snow drop on top of each other, watching it layered itself I sigh as I look back at the teacher she's writing on a chalkboard some thing about math I rub my eyes staring at it. Soon After I placed my head down on the table, falling asleep.
"Hiya!" A man said killing a monster as he looks back at me sitting in grass as he holds his hand out to me. "Hey there girly, you okay?" I nod as I stand up slowly looking at his eyes. "I'm childe but I also go by tartagila~" he said as he smiled getting close to me. "Hey...hey..."
"HEY"
Jolting awake I look around the room seeing everyone look at me as the teacher stares. "Y/n....it's 56" my desk partner said as I glance at them. "56?" I said as I look at the teacher. "It's 57 but I'll give you half a point.." I sigh as I fist bump my desk partner.
Soon the bell rings as school was over I walk down stairs to the elementary classes looking for my brother. I find him in his classroom coloring as I walk in and over to his desk. "Hey baby bro you coloring?" He looks up at me and smiles nodding showing me his coloring page happy. "Looks good go get your coat and scarf" he nods as he gets up and runs to find his coat.
I pack all his school work as I walk up to his teacher talking to her. Soon he comes back all dressed as I smile waving his teacher bye as I grab my coat and put it on as I open the big doors I see how much snow there was I sigh as I look down at my brother who had been determined to get through the snow.
After hours of walking we made it back home? I see a House as i knock on it still holding my brothers had.
A little boy opens the door looking at me and my brother. "Um..hi?" He said confused soon a tall lanky boy walks to the door. "Hello?" He said as he sees how cold my brother and I are soon he opens the door wider letting him and I in.
The house was warm as I slowly take my brothers scarf then me. "Thank you, we got lost and saw the only house for miles to go to" I said as I took off my gloves as a tall woman walks over to me. "Oh my goodness you poor things! I'll make some soup!" She said running to the kitchen.
The little boy looks at us smiling. "I'm Teucer this is my big brother Ajax!" He said showing off his tall brother as I look at him. Ajax was watching my brother and I suspiciously as he nods. "Oh! Oh! This is my older siblings Tonia, Anthon!" He said happy as he runs to my brother bringing him to play with him.
I sit down on a chair by the fire relaxing warming my hands as I feel someone's eyes on me I try to not look back keeping watch at the fire. "You seem familiar.." I heard a voice say as I look back. "Hm?" I turn to see Ajax looking at me. I turn fully around. "Do I?.." he nods as he study's me. "You go to school in {rad school name} in Snezhnaya no?" He said looking at me in the eye.
"Huh? Are we not in Snezhnaya?" I said as I look at him confused. "Yes and no where in the border of Snezhnaya and Natlan at the moment" he said as he chuckled. I froze immediately. "What?! Oh my god oh my god where no where close to home??!" I said putting my hands to my face. He walks over to me crouching down. "Where are you from exactly?" He said in a calm tone. "Snezhnaya city" his eyes blink a few seconds as he nods getting up and walking to the kitchen to his mom.
I glance at my brother playing with Teucer. As I sigh wishing my baby brother didn't have to deal with worry.
