Kevin is just doing what he's been doing for the past 3 years, passing out candy to children, sitting behind a counter, trying his best not to sleep..
KEVIN - "This is boring as hell.. Why can't I just have an off day.."
Kevin is expecting another child, but he realizes that this is no child.. This is a young adult. Almost looks like he's Kevin's age! Kevin gets a weird feeling in his throat. He's never felt this feeling before.
KEVIN (in mind) - "Come on.. What is this feeling and why is it only now happening.. "
That man's name is Streber. He's the town's vampire!... Well, at least one of them..
STREBER - "Hello! I would like the usu- Heyyyy.. Wheres the tall guy? What was his name... Ricky?"
Kevin is zoned out for a bit.
STREBER -" Uhh hello?"
KEVIN - "Oh! Sorry, I zoned out for a bit. What did you need?"
STREBER - "I was wondering where that tall guy was. Ricky is his name, right?"
KEVIN - "I think you mean Richard. Has brown hair, a bit of a mustache, wears the same clothes as me, right?"
STREBER - "Yeah!"
KEVIN - "He got an off-day."
STREBER - "Oh. Well I was wondering, could I get 16 candy bags? I need them for tomorrow."
KEVIN - "Sure."
Kevin hands a candy bag to Streber.
KEVIN - "That'll be 150 dollars."
STREBER - "Okay."
Streber searches through his wallet, finds 150 dollars, and hands it to Kevin.
KEVIN - "Thanks. Have a nice day!"
Streber is about the walk out the door but he wants to do something before he goes.
STREBER - Heyyyy.. "I know this is weird but you're pretty nice. Mind giving me your phone number?"
KEVIN - "Sure."

Kevin grabs a sticky note, writes his phone number on it, and gives it to Streber.
STREBER - "Thanks. I'll go home now! Bye bye!"
Streber blows a little kiss.. Is it jokingly?
Kevin just sits there.. thinking about Streber.
KEVIN - "Oh shit, It's time for me to go."
Kevin heads back home and gets out his phone and waits for a text from Streber.
