Step Brother

Me and my mom lived alone, since my dad left us.
My mom had met a new man.
He was caring, kind, and sweet. My mom loved him.
I wanted him for my mother.

Until, he confessed to my mom that he had a child.
And the mother of the child also left them.

I was alright with it so is my mother.
My mother loved him too much, that she is okay with it.

And today.. We'll be meeting my new 'step sibling.'
I still don't know their gender.

Me and my mom heard a knock on the door,
She opened it.

I thought it was my step dad, alone.
But he came with someone.

My mom greeted them so did I.
I hoped that me and my new step brother, would get along.
Complete opposite.

"annyeong, my name is kim jennie." I bowed my head,
To show respect.

"Annyeong, im kim taehyung." He also bowed his head.

"Well kids, you both get to know each other." My mom said,
We both headed to the living room.

"Taehyung, ill excuse myself for a bit ill come back." I excused myself.

I then head to the kitchen to ask my mom,
Where he will be sleeping.

"Mom." I look at her, she then turned around to look at me.

"Yes, sweetie?" She ask me.

"Where will taehyung, be sleeping?" I also asked.

"He can sleep in your room, you both are siblings i won't suspect anything." She smiled at me.

I just nodded and didn't care.
I then went back to the living room, to see taehyung on his phone chatting someone.

I didn't care, obviously.

"Do you want me to tour you around the house?" I questioned him so that he wont be lost around the house.

"Sure." He had a very deep voice, it wasn't this deep before.

"Where'd you wanna start?" I look at him, smiling.

"To the room, where I'd be sleeping." I nodded, while he put his phone on his pockets.

I took him to my room

"This looks like a bedroom for you." He looks down at me,
He isn't too tall.

Hes only 5'10 and im 5'4.
