Quiet thumps sounded on the window panes, echoing throughout the sleepy woodland cabin. While soft creaks and groans spoke in gentle words to each-other. Outside, the sound of a Chickadee's song resonated within the vast pine-woods as early morning rose to greet the serene forest. The lasting dew from last night's rain shower sparkled in enjoyment as soft sunlight rays bounced around. While incoherent shuffling of animals awoke to a another day of new activities and events. The weather was colder now, with the feeling of winter slowly creeping in on the end of Autumn. Multicolored leaves from the few littered oak tree's seemed to seamlessly sway and dance to the drying pine-bristles on the earthy floor.

Down the gravel filled dirt road sounded the engine of a moving vehicle. It moved slowly - but swiftly, to its approaching destination. A quiet screech sounded as it parked in the old driveway of the home before it. Out stepped the new comer; staring into the never ending forest, they turned to see their bags already being taken out of the trucks bed. Walking over to help, they decide to try and start up a conversation.

"Say, Nada," a small huff sounded at the use of the nickname.

"Yes America?" the now presented country smiled brightly at his brother who knew fully well the he hated the nickname.

"Sorry Canada, had to," he paused for a second before resuming his thought.

"So who else is going to be staying here with me, in the middle of no-where?" Canada chuckled.

"Sorry big bro, but that's were I have to keep my mouth sealed. UN's rules," groaning, America tugs on his brothers jacket.

"America please, how am I supposed to be the younger sibling here when you start acting like this," a small cry escaped Canada's lips in desperation.

With the bags now unloaded and gently placed on the rocky ground, Canada takes the chance to entirely turn towards his older brother.

"Be good alright? We don't want our parents to turn into worrywarts, now do we?" a gentle smile appears/sneaks onto his face before wrapping America up into a loving hug.

America returns the favor by squeezing back, "Yeah, yeah. Now get out of here before I change my mind and force you to give me answers,"

Nada laughs as they release each other. He then walks back towards the drivers side while America grabs his bags and backs up towards the building. Waving goodbye to his brother, the cars engine starts up with a low hum; before pulling out of the driveway and back down the road were it originated from.

America was now by himself, in a quiet pine filled forest. He takes a couple more seconds to eat up the peaceful senary before a shiver overtakes him. Deciding now would be a good idea to head inside, he grabs the cabins keys from his pocket and walks over with suitcase and bags in tow.

Bursting into the cabin after struggling to open the door; America is met with a chilling swoosh of air from inside the wooden structure. Letting out a small yelp of surprise, he immediately lets out a groan of annoyance. Deciding to take a deep breath to calm down, he looks around for a second before spotting a large fireplace.

"At least they have some form of heating in this place," America grumbles to himself as he drops his bags on the couch before heading over to start a fire.

Settling down in front of the heater, America shifts his eyesight around to see if there was any firewood. Luckily there is a small stash next to it; bringing along a happy hum as he spots fire starters near the pile. The wood was luckily dry and ready to be incinerated. Grinning to himself, he grabs about three logs and places it into the furnace.
