I think Shes Pretty Cool

Tara's POV:

"Come on bitch your slower than my grandma!" My bestfriend Mindy yells as I'm walking to her car, I flip her off with a grin and get in the passenger seat. My other friends are in the back seat, Liv was sitting in Chad's lap as they were being all gross and couply, then Wes sitting next to them in disgust. I put on my sunglasses and Mindy turns on the stereo finding a good song, once she does where all singing at the top of our lungs for 3 minutes until we pull up to school and park. I laugh as I get out of the car and swing my backpack on my shoulder closing the door. When I turn my head looking at the school there's a girl walking into the gates, she's pretty, very pretty. She's wearing black headphones that match her bag, she has on dark jeans and a black tank top thats tight fitting making my face feel hot. Liv bumps my shoulder with her fist, "Already got your eyes on someone?" She teases with a laugh. "Oh shut up!" I say shoving her arm, "Let's go learn in this bitch!" Chad yells picking Liv up and running inside while we all laugh at his childish behavior, but he's right were gonna be late if we don't go inside. I wave goodbye to Mindy and Wes as I walk to my first period, science. God I hate science. When I walk in there are already some kids sitting down talking, I go to my usual seat and pull out my phone waiting for class to start. I hear a noise and look up from my phone and see someone in the seat next to me, it was the girl from this morning, her dark hair falling past her shoulders. She noticed I looked at her and starts talking, "Oh I'm sorry is this seat taken?" god her voice is angelic, "Uh-no! Uhm, it's free." I say looking down with a now red face, I glance at her for a second and she's already looking at me with a smile. "Alright class let's get started!" The teacher says clapping his hands, I groan and put my head down on my desk. I know most of this stuff, I took advanced science for two classes last year. I felt a soft hand slightly touch my arm, when I look up there's a piece of gum on my notebook and the girl next to me is chewing some with a smile on her face showing her beautiful pearly whites. I smile at her and take the gum unwrapping it, I put the piece in my mouth and grab a pen from my back pocket, I wrote on the foil and passed it to her. 'Thanks(: x' She only nodded with a smile and turned her attention back to class. God she's so pretty, and she's nice. After awhile the bell rang and everyone started to pack up there things, when she puts her backpack on about to leave I speak up. "I never got your name." She turns back around and looks at me, "It's Amber, yours?" She asks turning her head slightly to the side with a smile. I blush and shake my head after I realize I'm not saying anything, "It's Tara, uhm-what class do you have next?" I ask while putting my bag over my shoulder. "Maths." She says with a humored pout. I giggle and nod, "So do I, can I walk you?" Her smile expands as she nods. "That would be great, I don't really know my way around here!" She says with a chuckle. I make a bold move and grab my phone out from pocket unlocking it then handing it to her, "Can I get your number? So I could help you find your way and if you have questions, and stuff-" I say kinda nervously. She grabs it and hands it back after a few seconds, there's a new number saved as 'Amber<3' She texted herself 'Hi nerd'. I laugh and look back up at her, "Well let's get going or were gonna be late." I say realizing we're still standing in the science room. She giggles and follows me out to our next class, we decided to sit next to eachother and get to know one another better. From what I learned: her favorite movie is Stab, she likes cats, drawing, and her favorite color is dark purple, shes 5'6 ½ which I kinda guessed givinen the fact she was pretty tall compared to me, as im 5'1. She also likes to collect band t-shirts and shoes, I find her pretty cool. As in pretty and cool.
