Tsukasa P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of nothing. I could tell it was already early in the morning as I bothered to check the time on my phone. Precisely 6 in the morning. I looked to my side to see Rui sleeping. He's finally getting a good amount of sleep after years. I couldn't help but smile a bit.

I got up and made my way to my desk without making a sound to not wake up Rui. I sat on my 2 legged chair and turned the computer on. I have a project due today and I need to hurry it up before I start stressing over it like last time…

Anyways, I started working. I knew this would take a long time to finish. My teacher doesn't really forgive us. He's one of those teachers who sends a lot of homework and projects when we don't have time and still yells at me and my classmates for not delivering it on time. It's not our fault! It's his for having us make a lot of projects when time is very scarce!

What am I even saying…  it's not like people will care later… I hit the desk frustrated. Why is this so difficult… I grabbed pieces of my hair and started pulling it. Stress was already at the door and I didn't like it. I don't like when this happens.

Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms around me. My breathing just got faster. I got scared but then remembered it was just Rui. My breathing calmed down slightly.

Rui: What are you doing awake at this hour, my love?

Tsukasa: I'm…working on something…

Rui: It seemed like you were just stressing over such a thing. Are you okay, Tsukasa-kun?

Tsukasa: If I say yes, would you believe it or not?

Rui: The chances of me believing it are low. Oh dear, why are you doing this?

Tsukasa: I have to hurry this project up before the due date and the teacher yells at me again… I don't want that.

I said with a smile as tears streamed down my now wide open orange eyes.

Rui turned my chair around, sat on my lap and hugged me. This is probably the most comforting hug I've ever been in… I hugged him back and tried to hold my tears.

Rui: Don't bottle your emotions, Tsukasa. Set them free. I don't mind.

As soon as he said those words, I let my tears flow like water. I had so many bottled up that I couldn't stop.

Rui: There there, my dear, feeling slightly better?

Tsukasa: Y-yes…

Rui: Look at me, my love.

I looked at Rui. I wondered what was going to happen. That's when I felt a pair of lips on mine. It was a calming kiss to help me calm down. I melted in the kiss. He really knows how to help me anytime.

He broke the kiss not long after.

Rui: All better?

He asked as he ran his hand through my hair.

Rui: I love you too.
