Chapter 15

The first night at the hostel was quite boring. Everyone felt very tired after the long flight, so you all went to bed early.

*Knock knock*

"Good morning my dears, it's time to wake up."

You could hear a cheerful voice, muffled through the door.
It was Mrs. Aizawa, who woke everyone up.

After she opened the door and made sure we were awake, she continued to the next room.

"(Y/N) you have to stay up," Kaoru said. Even Haruka was already sat up in her bed and smiled at you.
"We only have 20 minutes to get ready, c'mon."

"Why are you two so energetic in the morning?" You asked, sleep clinging to your voice.
Kaoru sighed and just when you thought she finally let you be, she suddenly jumped onto you.

"Wha-"
"At least you are awake now" Kaoru grinned while Haruka laughed from the other side of the room.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ishizawa checked every room a second time.

By the time he finally arrived at your room and knocked on the door, he opened it to see Kaoru sitting on top of you. His eyes went wide and madness welled up inside.

'This brat- how dare she-'

"What are you doing there?" Mr. Ishizawa glared at Kaoru.

She simply smiled in response "I'm waking her up of cour-" But before she could end her sentence, Mr. Ishizawa cut her off.

"Get off of her!" He scolded her,  with his voice raised.

Kaoru was startled but obeyed his words and stood up again.

"I'll see you in 15 minutes." He warned and was about to close the door. But before he left, his gaze lingered on you intensely as you slowly got up. A content smile rested on his lips.

You looked back at him and noticed that one of his knuckles was bruised in a deep purple color.
Before Mr. Ishizawa closed the door his lips moved as if he whispered something, but you couldn't hear it.

"So mean," Kaoru mumbled and you snapped out of your trance.
"What was that?"

15 minutes later you were sat in the dining room with the rest of your class. While you ate breakfast, Mr. Ishizawa explained the plans for the week.
"Today you will visit the Okinawa Prefectural Peace Memorial Museum. Due to the fact that it is almost an hour away you will have the rest of the day off.

Tomorrow you will be separated into two groups and each group will be guided through town by courier.
During the last two days, youre allowed to explore the town, in little groups on your own."

You sighed. This sounded a bit boring for a class trip, especially the first two days. Monday had been the first day and you spent it just traveling here. So you were already missing one of the 5 days.

Haruka noticed you blankly staring at your breakfast.

"(Y/N) are you alright?" You were brought back to reality. "Oh yeah, I was just thinking about the next few days", you smiled slightly.

At the same time, you just wanted to stay as far away as possible from your teacher. You could tell something was off, but of course, you didn't know what it was.

And for some reason, you couldn't forget about what he did before.
After breakfast, you packed everything you needed for the museum. The teachers assigned each group a few tasks to complete.

When you arrived at the museum, you joined the rest of your group together with Kaoru. You went ahead and greeted the two other students and Kaido. While the other two members of your group responded happily, Kaido simply ignored everyone.
