Chap 9: Prom night

No one pov

The scene swtiches to the gym where prom was happening. There were a lot of worker drones dancing and having a great time... but for how long?

In a corner, Uzis dad was looking around, wondering where his daughter was. But no signs of her, then Lizzy walked to the stage and spoke into the mic.

Lizzy:" Okay, listen up, nerds. We're doing this a little early, but since the entire prom court mysteriously disappeared, your queen by forfeit is uh this." She said while V lands on the stage, causing every worker drones to scream.

Worker drone:" Oh, we're gonna die!" He said, totally panicked by the situation. V just slowly walks closer to'the scared worker drone, ready to kill them all.

Lizzy:" Eazy, judgey bots, V is my friend. She's done with the murder or whatever. We've been hanging." She said while a screen slid down and showed everyone the picture of her and V hanging out.

V:" Yes, best friends. So easily manipulated." She said, walking even closer, and started to laugh like a maniac, changing her hand into claws but then stopped realizing something.

V:" Prom queen?" She said, confused looking at Lizzy, who just gives her a smile. Looking at the other side, she saw another worker drone with a crown, but she didn't seem so happy about it.

Lizzy:" So, forgive and forget, or I'll get my dad to dock your freakin' grades! And you can't sit with us, Rebecca!" She said with a little anger in her voice at the last part. She pointed at Rebecca in the crowds.

Rebecca:" Fine, I forgive her, settle." She said, clearly annoyed by this. All the workers started to cheer and clap for V. But Lizzy yelled at them to clap louder. So that's what they did. The worker with the crown approached V and complemented her dress, and put the crown on her head. Meanwhile, Khan tried to leave, but something blocked the door.

Khan:" Not.. the doors." He said unhappy about this.

Back to V, who finally accepted what's going on.

V:" I- can kill everyone... after? It's not vain. It's extra sinister." She said, walking to the mic while waving at the workers. Doll was waiting patiently to her, stepping on the red cross on the floor. Lizzy didn't look too sure at her friend plan. V was about to speak, but-

Meanwhile, Y/n pov

System rebooting. Loading...

10%... 40%... 70%... 90%... 100%...

-" GAAH! Huh?" I said, confused about why I was on the floor but then remembered... V had cut my head off.

-" V if I found you, I'll have to do a little revenge! Ughh!!!" I said, angry and frustrated at why she did that - now that I think about it. Why did she do that ?

-" Hey N, are you-" I stopped myself, not seeing N anywhere. Did they just leave me alone? Seriou- WAIT UZI! I FINALLY REMEMBER NOW! V WANTED TO KILL THE WORKERS AND UZI TOO!! This is not happening!! I grab the suit/dress and get outside the ship as fast as possible to save her.

Meanwhile, with Uzi and N. No one pov

Uzi:" Unhand them, you fiend- I'm confused." She said, clearly confused about what's happening. She turned to N wanting answers, but he was as confused as she was. Doll was finally ready to attack. Lizzy realizing this tried to warn her.
