she wants to cuddle

Yeeun laid awake in the bedroom, listening to you breathe beside her as you sleep soundly.

Tonight, you're staying over at the dorm and Yeeun couldn't be more grateful as she had a long day and she needs you tonight.

She can't seem to fall asleep no matter how hard she tries, though she had a long and busy day.

She figured that she'd be asleep by now as she was exhausted when you both agreed that it was time to call it a night.

Yet, here she is, wide awake.

You were sleeping on your stomach so she moved closer to you and gently laid her hand on your back, feeling your soft and warm skin against the tips of her fingers which she began to brush up and down your skin.

You sleepily lifted your head from the pillow as you awoke from your slumber over her soothing touch.

"Yeeun?" You mumbled tiredly before looking at the time on your phone with tired eyes. "It's after one am. Why are you still awake?"

"I can't sleep." She said. "I don't know what to do."

You rubbed your eyes tiredly.

You felt so exhausted that you could hardly keep them open.

But you knew that Yeeun needed you and needed some comfort or else she probably wouldn't get any sleep tonight.

So you pushed through the sleepiness that you felt and focused on her.

"Tell me what you need, my love." You said as you fought back a yawn.

"Well, some cuddles would help."

"Are you sure you don't need more than that?"

"I'm sure. All I need is you." She said.

Her words made a smile pull at your lips and you opened your arms just a second later.

She didn't hesitate at all.

She moved right into them and curled up to you as her legs tangled with yours and her head fell against your chest.

She let out a hum of happiness and contentedness as you started to run your fingers through her hair.

She curled up as close as she could to you and listened to the sound of your heart beating steadily in her ears.

"Are you okay?" You whispered as she closed her eyes.

It wasn't that she felt sleepy all of a sudden but rather that she felt so warm and so content as you cuddled with her that she was able to relax and let her eyes slip shut for the first time in a while.

"More than okay." She said as her lips touched your soft skin. "This is just what I needed."

You cracked a little smile and continued to play with her hair as you snuggled close to her.

She was your whole world and even though you're exhausted, you're more than happy to stay awake for as long as it takes to help her drift off to sleep.

"I love you." She said.

"I love you too." You spoke, softly and lovingly kissing her head.

You listened to her breathe as she soon drifted off to sleep, her soft and warm breaths fanning against your skin as she finally got the rest she needed.

"Sweet dreams, my love." You said softly as you closed your tired eyes again, happily drifting off to sleep with Yeeun in your arms, sleeping soundly like an angel at last.
