1. The chirping birds

It was early in the morning when the sound of mystical morning breasts can be heard along with birds chirping outside the palace window.

As always the king and the queen were cuddling eachother while having their peaceful rest when they heard a knock on the door .
" I sware to God if this is one of your pranks again i won't let you leave the bed for next week" grumped Yibo accusing Zhan of being mischievous....the accusations doesn't come from nowhere , it was common knowledge in the palace that the queen is quite playful although most of the time he is kind and gentle but he can be mischievous if he want and one of his favourite things is to tease the king...

" Jees soo grumpy in the morning?? It might be one of your enforcers bringing some news" said Zhan righting himself while Yibo stood up to open the door .

" Good morning your highness hope you have a pleasant sleep " yup it was in fact one of Yibo's enforcers Hedi greeting with with a chirpy smile as always .

" What is it"   "The letter you send to the neighbour kingdom regarding the resources and the common trade path have been received and one of their enforcers have cane requested your presence " Yibo sighed and then told Hedi that he will be there .

As the gate closes he went back to his bed snusseling his beautiful partner in his embrace . " I will be going , some work came . You rest more ok" Yibo kisses his husband's neck waiting for his reply, after about one minute later he got a response.             " you go then , I'll be going to the orphanage, Yobin said that there are some new kids brought by yesterday. Staying in bed is no option , it is too cold without you to cuddle me and keep me worm " with that both the King and the Queen got ready for the day .

The meeting hall of the kingdom of Lan was at a pin drop silence when the king walked to his throne in all his glory and might. The presence of the King is solely enough to bring terror in the might of anyone at a close proximity. The royal family of the Wang's is no joke , all the members of the family have proved themselves to be worthy of the thorne , they were one of the strongest people with inhuman strength and focus of an eagle ......it was the gift of their royal family.

Every royal family have their own gifts which runs in the family , the Wang's have strength and accurace making them one of the strongest families of the higher upps.

It was around 10:30 when Zhan reached the the orphanage , getting out of his cart, he made his way to the orphanage door and was instantly greeted by the maidens  working there , they were quiet families with Zhan as it was his common habit to visit the orphanage whenever he seeks time . Usually he is busy with political work of the kingdom as well as planing strategies with his husband .
Zhan is one of the most wisest and most interesting people in the planet , it was his gift from his mother which no one know about , no one really know his origin except few , some say he was the last successor of the extinct kingdom of Wei , the other says he was created by witches of the dark mountains ....no one really know about his family and his secret gift ....the gift that make his quiet dangerous , it is said that Zhan can read anyone's mind as long as they are close enough and can also see the future making him impossible to outsmart.

Zhan entered the orphanage and immediately got surrounded by the kids of the orphanage , the kids adore him as much as he adore them , he often come to play with them and sometimes even bake with them only when Yibo is not around otherwise he gets too jealous and competitive with the kids and fight them for his attention which is adorable if you ask Zhan.

He played with the kids little and then went to meet the new ones that just came yesterday, he was informed that they were twins whose parents got in an accident while they were loading the goods to the trade yard.

Soon he spot two little boys around the age or five to six hugging each other while looking at him with anticipation and anxiety, he slowly went towards them and bend down to their level showing his gentle smile " hello , my name is Zhan you can call me ZeiZei , wanna be my friend?" He lift his hand slowly expecting a handshake . After some time the boys seperate and reached to his hand shaking it nervously " see now we are friends right ? There is no need for you both to be scared ,this is your new house and there are many friends waiting for you to play with them so let's go shall we" . He stood up  held both their tiny hands and went to the play area where all the kids were already playing .

It was past lunch time when Yibo went to the supper hall hoping to see the one person he missed very much but to his disappointment Zhan was not there..  he remembered that his husband had said that he would go to the orphanage so without any ado he went straight to the orphanage.

The king reached the orphanage soon , he get down from his horce and entered the big gate
" Greatings your highness " said mandam Yuri , the caretaker of the orphanage, " the Queen was playing with the kids earlier , I'll go inform him about your arrival" , " No need, I'll go myself" . Wang Yibo entered the playroom and the sight before him has his heart melt in an instant, Zhan was surrounded with kids all sleeping around him while he was sleeping with his head resting to the nearest wall probably too tired after playing .

As if  Zhan had sensed Yibo's arrival  , he opened his eyes and picked the kids on top of him carefully placing them in a comfortable position . He then went to Yibo with eyes still half closed and shot him an adorable look  "Am i late for sometime??"  "Have you eaten anything??" Asked Yibo trying his best to not show his soft side in front of others "well if candies count then i ate like fifteen of those " said Zhan showing his bunny teath " let's go then, you need a proper meal " . Zhan was about to call for his driver to bring his carriage when Yibo picked him up and put him on his horse " you don't need that when i am  around "  " Aish , demanding as always " Zhan sighed at his husband's possessiveness and both the King and the Queen left for their palace leaving others admiring them with adoration.
