Brandon was curled up in his cozy plaid bedsheets, on his phone. He was scrolling through old photos and texts of him and Ben Shapiro's. Every time he saw or heard his friends voice, he felt heat creep onto his cheeks in a way no man had ever made his cheeks flush ever before. Actually, if he thought about it, no man had ever gotten him so flustered, in a good way. Perhaps this was a simple coincidence.
A soft buzz emitted from his phone as a notification popped up onto the screen. It was from his dearest friend, Ben Shapiro. He had him saved as 'Ass licker'. It was only a simple joke, but sometimes Brandon wished it were true, so Ben could.. No no, he shouldn't have thoughts like that when its about another man.. right? Perhaps these thoughts would go away soon. 'Its just a phase.' He said to himself. It always was just a phase, even though he didn't think phases lasted so long. Anyways, the message. Right! He had let his thoughts get in the way. He clicked the notification.
'Hey. U awake rn?'
Brandon smiled and texted back.
'Yep. What r u doing?'
'Bored af rn. Wanna hang out?'
'Sure. I'm free. Where at this time?'
'It's a surprise. Just get ready, i'll be there in 15.'
'got it. see u then.'
Brandon giggled and rolled onto his back, blushing once more. He laid there in joy for a few moments before hopping up and practically jumping to his closet. He opened it, and picked out some jeans and a white button up small shirt. He quickly threw on his clothes and put on his socks and cowboy boots, rushing outside to the front of his mother and brothers house. His ginger hair was gently ruffled by the wind, and his green eyes glinted in the sun with excitement. Only a minute after Brandon went outside, Ben pulled up in his white Mercedes-Benz A-Class and called out.
"Hey! Weirdo! Hop in." Ben had a smile printed on his round face as he unlocked the door. Brandon hopped in quickly in the passenger seat, dabbing Ben up real quick before buckling his seatbelt in. "Hey Ben. How're you doing?" Brandon said, feeling the same heat return to his cheeks as Ben began to drive while speaking. "I'm doing fine. Better now that you're here." He looked over and winked playfully at Brandon, who looked away in embarrassment of his hot but pale cheeks. He simply turned up the radio with a smile and flipped through the channels until he found a song playing that he liked. Charlie Daniels, a favorite of his. 'Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye', is what he recognized the song to be. Ben made a fake gag and rolled his eyes. "That stuff again? Really?' Ben chuckled. "Of course."
After a few minutes of driving, they finally arrived to the place Ben wanted to take Brendon. Guadalupe Mountains, it was. They arrived at a gorgeous beach, with the waters clear and beautiful. There were no people, indicating that Ben had bought the day for them. Brandon gasped as he hopped out, shock (/pos) appearing on his longer face.
