As you and your friend sat down for lunch, you started to daydream. It was a habit of yours, and your friend Chae often noticed.
"y/n, hey, eat your food".
You shook your head and started to eat.
"what were you thinking about now?"
the reality was, all you could think about lately was your crush, Felix. ever since your math professor had sat you next to him in class 2 months ago, he was all that was on your mind.
"ah, nothing important," you said, smiling slightly at the thought of how your eyes had locked and briefly in math earlier today, and for a moment you had gotten lost in his beautiful brown eyes. you melted at the thought.
"is it felix again?"
she knew you too well.
you chuckled as you carried on eating your fruit, still picturing in your head the beauty of felix's eyes.

after you had finished your lunch, you and Chae walked around school as you usually did. as you walked past the picnic benches, she nudged you and pointed to the left, where you saw felix and his friends walking and chatting. he looked very pretty in his grey blazer and trousers.
"dont stare," Chae warned but it was too late.
one of felix's friends had noticed you as he glanced over, and tapped felix as he pointed at you.
you glanced away quickly, but soon enough looked back as you heard the boys mumbling louder. they were all looking at felix and teasing him, he just smirked at their pestering. he looked up and his eyes met yours. he smiled.
your heart melted. even from a distance he still looked so beautiful. chae giggled at you, as you smiled back and waved, feeling giddy.
as the boys talking got louder, felix looked increasingly more nervous. the boys started walking over to you and chae bringing felix with them, a look of surprise on his face. they gently pushed felix so he was about 2 feet away from you. he stumbled, trying not to bump into you.
you looked up as your eyes met his once more today. his mouth was slightly open and he let out a short breath.
"uh hi felix," you said, more eagerly than you anticipated.
he glanced away nervously before forcing himself to meet your gaze again.
"hi y/n!" he smiled once more, his perfect smile. you could smell his cologne and noticed all the freckles on his face as you looked up at him.
your heart pounded in your chest.
"uhmm, i was wondering if- uh-" he stumbled over his words, glancing back at his friends who were whispering while staring at you two.
you couldnt help but find his nervousness a little cute. he brushed his hair out of his face and took a deep breath.
"i was thinking um- you're, i think you're really pretty y/n."
he cringed slightly at his messily formed sentence.
you were taken aback. you felt your heart stop as his words repeated in your head.
~i think you're really pretty y/n~
you tilted your head slightly, and tried your best to reply even though internally it felt as if there were fireworks going off in your stomach.
"i- th- thank you felix". you just couldnt take your eyes off of his.
"i was wondering if you'd like to- meet with me after school? you- you dont have to, i just-"
"i would love to" you watched as his nervousness disappeared and his smile returned to his face as he batted his eyelashes, clearly over the moon.
"oh! thats perfect- i'll see you at the gate?" his eyes glittered with delight and his smile never faltered.
"y- yeah- see you!" you said as you both gave one last glance and walked away.

as soon as the bell rang at the end of your last lesson, you rushed out of your classroom. you walked swifly to the gate, patting your hair down and re-applying your lip gloss when suddenly you hear fast footsteps catching up with you.
you spin around to see felix jogging up to you.
"y/n..!" he says, slightly out of breath
"oh, hi felix" you say, slightly stunned at his sudden appearance. your eyes quickly scan his body before meeting his.
you both just stare at each other, not really knowing what to say, yet feeling comfortable with each others gaze.
felix looks at your lips then back at your eyes. butterflies are swarming in your stomach as you quickly glance at his lips aswell. you scan his face as you can see all his gorgeous freckles, and his perfect lips. your gazes meet again as felix cups your face with his hand and leans in to kiss you. you let out a soft gasp before kissing him back, putting your hands on his chest. he carefully places his other hand on your hip as your kiss intensifies.
you both pull away for air, panting softly as he scans your face and smirks at your expression of awe.
"you really are beautiful, y/n"
he smiles again as he takes your hand and leads you to the gate, where you would soon go back to his house for the evening.
