The soft pats of the rainbeat down on the grass

The soft pats of the rain
beat down on the grass.
Just the perfect weather
for me. The soothing
pattern of the rhythmatic
water drops were
calming and enough
to relax my mind after
a long day at work.

Squish
Squish

My eyes flashed open,
a figure of a man above him.
The man had a mask
on, covering his
identity from me.
I furrowed my brows in
confusion, pushing myself
off the concrete with
my palms.

"Do you need something sir?"

•••

"No."

My face dug even deeper
in confusion as the man
kneeled down to me,
grabbing my hand. A look
of concern flashed on my
face as I attempted to
tug my hand away.
The strength of the man kept
my hand in his warm ones.
I stared at him, clearly quite
disturbed. Letting go, the
stranger reached up to his
drenched mask and took it
off, revealing the most
breathtaking man I've ever
seen. His feature resembled
that of an angel and a
demon at the same time.
His smile was gentle yet
smug while his eyes
were struck with stars.
His drenched black
hair stuck to his forehead
and he grabbed my hand
once again with his slender
fingers. His clothes were
soaked, yet he just ignored
the pouring water.

"Who are you...?"
I asked, looking at him
in concern. I retracted my
hand out of his now
benign grip.

"I don't matter."
He says in a low, yet
attractive voice. I was
stunned by the man's
visuals, I almost didn't
notice when he placed a
jacket over my shoulder,
pulling the hood up to
cover my head.

His smile made me
feel fuzzy. He touched
my cheek, wiping some
of the rain drops from it,
even though it was useless
since we were literally
in the rain, it made my
heart flutter.
This man...

What is going on...

"Stay warm."
He gently pressed on
my neck with his finger
tips before quickly
kissing my cheek.
"Good bye
Sumin,
my dearest."

I watched him get
up hastily and turn around.
I was confused.
"How do you-"

He blew me a kiss and
pulled his mask up before
running off in the
distance. I stared at him
as he sprinted away,
utter shock and confusion
as the rain down poured
loudly. The jacket covering
my head protected my
head from being drenched.
I assumed this was the
universal sign to go inside.
I doubt that man could've
known me. It's such a low
chance. He doesn't even
look familiar anyways.

I pulled myself off the
concrete, pulling the
jacket hood over my
neck onto my head.
I took a breath in,
eyes narrowing in the
direction the man ran
off in with my Adam's
apple bobbing up then
down as I swallow
hard. My heart
rate sped up,
thinking of any
possible ways he
knew of my name.

In fear, I quickly
scrambled away
towards my apartment
door. Every few seconds,
I looked behind me to
see nobody. This situation
did nothing but make
me more paranoid...

And help me find
my type...

And help me find my type
