Cry.
That was the only thing Onix could do. As she balled up on the floor next to her bed. The side of her bed pressed against her back as she uncontrollably shook. Shook not from fear, but from crying. She had become so enveloped into crying that her whole body began to partake in the activity. They back of her throat burned from sobbing, eyes red and puffy. Her chest rapidly rising and sinking as she began to make hiccup like motions, hyperventilating.
At this point, Onix herself forgot the main reason she had started crying. All the knew was that her bottled up emotions were starting to pour out, creating a mess of her.
It had been a while since she last cried this heavily. It had started with a few tears shedding but quickly grew into a heavy sobbing session. The 1 reason why she was crying today turned into the 10 reasons she had wanted to cry all week, which turned into the 100 reasons she wanted to cry in the last month.
All she knew was that it felt good. It felt good to finally release her self. It felt good to cry for once. With no one watching her, no one to judge, no one to criticize, no one around, no one to stop her from letting herself cry freely.'Count' she told herself. '1, 2, 3, 4...' by the time she hit 5 her breathing started to steady.
'6,7,8,9...' once she hit 10 she didn't feel the need to cry anymore.By the time she was done she felt lighter. She had collected herself into a more presentable manor. Her face still damp and eyes slightly red, it was evident she had been crying. But for all she cared, let the world know she was crying. Let the world know she wasn't as emotionless as they all thought.
