Awake & Alive

~Chapter 1~

_____Le Start_______

"Quick, catch her!" shouted various voices as they chased the young girl through the trees, scared the little girl quickly hid inside a large log 'wheres daddy?, where are nii-san and the others?' she whimpered as a few ninja past her but didn't notice her.

The girl cried silently, regretting leaving her home, to wander around and now she was lost and being chased by strange ninja's she didn't know. A few minutes later she wiped her tears with her sleeve and slowly peeked her head out from under the large log she was in and looked around.

To her it looked clear, but to the ninja hiding she was entering a trap, unbeknown to her that the ninja were hiding dangerously close, she climbed out of the large log and stood on the ground.

Her black kitty onesie hood fell in front of her eyes, she quickly fixed it and looked around "NOW!!" shouted a ninja as he and a couple other ninja  jumped out and attempted to grab her, the girl ducked down abruptly and started to cry in fear of what was happening around her.

Suddenly there was a silent flash of light as thunder and lightning appeared and struck down all the opposing ninja around it, there were loud screams of pain before complete silence replaced the screams, as if nothing had happened, the thunder and lightning disappearing as if it was never there, the young girl still shaking slightly awaiting for what was suppose to come.

~3rd Persons POV~

A girl woke up with a loud gasp, one hand clutching her heart that was beating rapidly and her other covering her mouth from emitting a scream, the girl tried to calm herself down but this time it wasn't working.

She closed her eyes but immediately opening them again, 'that dream' she thought 'why do i always have it?' she asked herself, she moved her hand from her mouth and pulled her legs up to her chest and hugged them, slowly and gently rocking back and forth.

She quietly and gently started humming a soft calming tune to herself, she turned her lamp that was next to her on and grabbed her stuffed bunny, it was black and had gold buttons for eyes and had dark grey stitches all around it, making it look slightly demented.

She wanted to go and search for comfort from one of the others that lived with her, but thought against it, she shook her head and managed to calm her heart and stood from her bed and walked to her little bed/seat window and sat on it, watching the stars twinkle in the night sky.

~A few hours later~

The young girl was ripped from her thoughts when she heard knocking on her door "Sadako, are you awake?" asked a gentle voice, belonging to the only other female in the Akatsuki "yeah" came the monotoned voice of the said girl.

The door opened revealing Konan, she smiled at Sadako but just got a blank look in return "well, if you want to come out and eat i've made you breakfast" said Konan as she watched the young girl with slightly worried eyes.
