Popular video game streamer SupremeKing's fandom was absolutely buzzing with all of the interesting new developments to speculate about recently.

First of all, SupremeKing, whatever else he was known for, was definitely not known for smiling. Nor was he known for being distracted or unfocused. Nor for being particularly talkative (or saying anything at all, really). Yet, over the past year or so, he'd started getting SMS pop-ups on the corner of his screen from someone labelled only as KDJ. Usually they were heckling, but they made SupremeKing give what could almost be called a smile, and sometimes he would just reply, "Rat bastard," into the mic on his headset, with no other rebuttal.

After a few months, however, the SMS messages lessened, but instead SupremeKing began glancing down at his mobile when it chimed occasionally, with the same not-quite-smile.

This had already generated enough of a buzz on its own about the very antisocial gamer (who reluctantly tolerated MaritimeAdmiral and her insistence on calling herself his protegée, despite him denying it himself, but as far as anyone knew had no other friends) having a new friend, or possibly even partner, but then the other thing had begun.

All of a sudden, while SupremeKing did still do his little not-smiles at the SMS and texts from the mysterious KDJ, sometimes he started looking up from his computer screen and looking at something off camera as well. Sometimes his expression didn't change much at all, but sometimes it went a bit soft, or that little not-smile appeared, and sometimes after this — usually on a very long stream — he would casually bring a hand up to mute his mic and take a bite of something that could not possibly have been sitting there out of frame the whole time. On one memorable occasion, when he had looked away from his screen, his eyes had flicked rather obviously up and down, and then he had curled his hand resting on the desk lightly to gesture 'wait a minute'. Then he had brutally torn through the end of the raid and quickly signed off.

If nothing else had (which, to be clear, it had), there was no avoiding that incident sending the fandom into a flurry of speculation over SupremeKing having a girlfriend and who she might be. MaritimeAdmiral seemed too young to most people, though they didn't actually know his age, but he was clearly somewhere in his twenties, or perhaps just aged well and was even in his thirties, and she was still in high school. The mysterious KDJ seemed too rude and too probably masculine, with SupremeKing calling them 'bastard' all the time. But who else was there?

Unfortunately, rather than answers, they only got more frustrating and tantalising hints as to SupremeKing's personal life when the background of his streams suddenly changed. He didn't acknowledge it, but it was clear he was living somewhere new, and that was fuelling the speculation like crazy. He and his girlfriend had moved in together? Would they ever meet her? He, of course, ignored all of their questions, as per usual.

Yoo Jonghyuk glanced up briefly toward the gaming room door as he heard the front door open, but quickly focused back on the game — he didn't need to be distracted when he was on stream.

Han Sooyoung, however, seemed to be doing her best to make that impossible, as she laughed loudly and gratingly from the other room. He could see the chat speeding up out of the corner of his eye as people overheard and began speculating and asking questions, and he gritted his teeth. Why did Kim Dokja's best friend have to be the most obnoxious woman on the face of the planet?

He heard her footsteps coming closer to his gaming room, probably heading to the kitchen to steal their food, as usual, and Dokja said something low and mumbly, clearly trying to be courteous of Yoo Jonghyuk streaming. At least someone here was reasonable. The fact that he was calling Kim Dokja reasonable was truly a testament to what a terror Han Sooyoung was.
