*^Demonic Lullaby^*

CHAPTER ONE

800 years ago demons appeared, unlike what you might think, they never hurt us for pleasure. They did do one thing though...They claimed humans, the even had academies such as a Little Academy where people can go to regress and to be claimed by a demon. They've had ads for these academies since I could remember.

Ahem, Enough of that. My names Akari, I don't really remember how I got my name since I've lived in an orphanage since I was born. I dont really know why nobody's adopted me yet, I mean I think I'm fairly pretty with my Purple-black hair and green eyes. One thing you should know is, I've been an outcast since I was born, Everyone just hated me.

I would like to add that I'm currently seventeen, once we turn eighteen the advisors can choose if we should get interviewed to go to an academy depending on our 'aura'. I don't know what he means by that but he says everyone has an different scent? I can't smell anything, but then again he's a demon so maybe they can smell it. He also sometimes tells us that depending on the sweetness of our scent determines if we are a Dom or Sub.

I'm sure your getting bored of my rant so I'll just talk about how life is at the orphanage, it's not really a normal orphanage per say, it's more like a... testing facility? They make sure we take medicine, that we are clean, well fed. They even monitor our behavior, if we are well behaved we get rewards, if we are not... we have to take these shots. I've only ever taken two shots before, some people have taken several.

Oh, I forgot to mention that my birthday is tomorrow, I guess I should've said that sooner.. heh.
Anyways it's time for dinner.

I quickly ran downstairs to the dining hall. "Sorry I'm late sir!" I managed to say panting. "It's alright Akari, you can sit and start eating." "Thank you sir!" I said.

"Ah Akari, We've decided to interview you tomorrow. So please get a good rest."

"O-okay" I replied shaking.

He did not just say that.. What if I get chosen.. No no no no.... I-i can't breathe. Calm down Akari... you won't get picked.

I cough before excusing myself, "Sorry sir, I'm a bit full. I'm gonna go sleep."

I quickly ran to my room.

When I got there I plopped onto the bed and dozed off.

<The Next Morning>

"AKARI! GET READY!" I hear the advisor scream. "OKAY!".

I quickly brush my hair out before letting myself tie it into a cute loose ponytail. I get my blue uniform on before heading to the interview room.

I see the advisor waiting for me, "Go in Akari." He says pushing me in. Once I'm in I see a pretty girl with silver red hair and white horns.

"Alright Akari, My names Kikyo. I'll be interviewing you.", I nod shyly.

"So, I'm gonna bring three items out and pick the one you want. Okay cutie?" She said with a smile. I nodded as she brought the items out.

A ball, Stuffed Cat and a red rope?

I slowly reached for the Stuffed cat as it was the most appealing to me.

"T-this one.." I mumbled.

"Awe! Alright cutie, Can you let me take your blood? It's gonna hurt a bit buy you'll get a sucker after!" I flinched before agreeing.

"Owie!" I winced as she took the needle out. "M-meanie.."

She quickly pulled a sucker out as well as a pacifier...?

I ignored it as she gave me the sucker and I started eating it. A few minutes after I felt dizzy and then...
