[Author's Pov]

Jungkook laid on bed after tiring day. Taehyung walked out from closet area after sometime. For Few minutes taehyung just stand leaning against closet door with support of his back to admire Jungkook from distance. After sometime he walked near jungkook and bends down near bed's corner.

Jungkook's sleep almost took over him...almost. but then he heard foot steps coming near him. He then felt some sounds from side of his bed, he thought about waking up at first but then Taehyung's hand made contact with his right Cheek very softly and delicately. Taehyung started caressing his cheek meanwhile jungkook felt the softness of taehyung's hand and started enjoying the gesture. Jungkook continued his acting of sleeping without moving to not make it obvious for Taehyung.

But what he heard next made him confused to core..
"You're in my every thoughts,
I wonder-
Am i in yours?"

He didn't get time to composed him self from taehyung's unexpected statement when taehyung's next words hit him like truck. His whole body stilled, his breath got uneven, his mind stopped working, his blood runout cold, his voice got stuck in his throat.

"I love you"

He never in his life expected to hear it, especially from taehyung and now when it comes from taehyung it scares him most. He never wants their friendship to get ruined, he's not ready to lose taehyung because of any misunderstanding, at the same time he doesn't want to see taehyung suffering alone. He doesn't know what to do anymore, his whole world crumbled in one sentence and three words.

Taehyung retreated his hand back fastly after confessing his long hidden feelings. He took few steps back before saying anything. He's not guilty for expressing his true love afterall someday it's gonna comeout. Maybe that someday is today.!!

"I know you're awake jungkook, stop pretending" Taehyung said. Yes, even if jungkook wasn't obvious about it, he knew it from the start.

Jungkook takes few deep breathes after lifting his body from bed. For some reason jungkook looked down avoiding eye contact with taehyung.

"Don't be cowered, look up jungkook" Taehyung again said after noticing jungkook's actions.

With so much courage jungkook lifted his hanging head up and immediately locked his eyes with taehyung's and asked with so much hesitancy "If you knew i was awake then why did you confessed your l-love?"

"I don't want to wake up one day and regret not trying because of my pride, hesitation or embarrassment. I need to do this to calm my mind and my soul. I need you to know so that I can hear you saying you don't have these same feelings for me. Say you don't love me so i can move on" taehyung replied in vulnerable way with sad smile.

Jungkook didn't like the sight of taehyung's sad smile at all. But he can't do anything about it.

"I really love you but as a friend. I'm sorry Tae, i can't love you as lover, please understand, don't hurt your self" with weak voice jungkook said.

"I understand, it's ok, I'm fine!!" Taehyung stepped closer to jungkook. Jungkook knows taehyung is hurt and not fine so he just let taehyung do whatever he wants, maybe in future he'll heal the broken soul of taehyung.

Taehyung slowly wraps his arms around jungkook's neck very carefully to not make jungkook uncomfortable. With safe distance he attached his body with jungkook's to take his warmth by hugging him. Jungkook slowly brings his arms around taehyung's waist and holds it in his grip tightly yet carefully to not hurt taehyung. Minutes passed quickly. Taehyung didn't broke the hug and jungkook didn't bother either as he knows taehyung needs his comfort right now.
