Start Of It All

You work around your bakery, today seemed to be a practically peaceful day, not a lot of customers but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy your day just gazing outside waiting for one.

As you were looking outside you saw how people where making quite a crowd, you here cheering and other noises you don't hear alot often.

Seems that someone must have done quiet a good bounty, but the more attention you pay to the noise the more you realize what's actually happening.

A ship has arrived, to this kingdom specifically, a crew of pirate hunters who arrived there to do some small business.

As the crowd congratulates them, as sarah and the others walk by your bakery you make eye contact with her for a few seconds,
Your heart is racing
"oh dear God please tell me she doesn't recognize me."

That thought went away pretty quickly as soon as your friend Sabrina goes to you, talking about how much she loves captain sarah

You were just laughing it off until you heard the word captain
"wait what?? Captain?!?"
She says "well yeahh haven't you heard of her? Her crew have hunted so many pirates and she is sooo dreamy ahahha~..." while giggling

You say in your head
"goodness I already knew that the inevitable was decommissioned as well as killing sea beasts,
But it's been so long, I didn't expect someone as old as her to still keep working,
Ah...still hard working as ever sarah sharpe."

Your friend quickly notices you razing in your head and says
"hey you got something on your mind? Cmon you can tell mee"
You quickly reply with
"don't worry it's nothing important, just waiting for customers.."

But for the rest of the day all you kepped thinking about was sarah,
How you fell for her back then but never showed it even the day you knew the inevitable wouldn't last long and you would soon run out of chances.

" welp, all is in the past and my old identity is to be forgotten,
I don't regret my choices,
No matter what I will never confess even when I am another person now."

And some other words you kepped reciting in your head, still in denial of the your love for her as you tried to only see it as a small crush

" as soon as they leave for i will to be at east again.
