Yor was not expecting to have such a great day. It started off rather horribly, with Anya waking up late and Bond throwing up all over the living room carpet. Yor also accidentally set off the building's fire alarms when she tried to make her pretend husband and daughter a hearty breakfast. And when in the rush to get out of the building her dress had caught on the door handle and made a rip far past a few minutes of sewing.

Loid then had to go to work with chaos swarming his mind. He probably was wondering why he married such a clutz - such a nut like Yor.

It made her self-conscious due to the fact that Loid was an attractive man. He could find any woman. She'd seen it in that Fiona woman's eyes. Women - and even some men - wanted Loid. Yet, he had found her attractive that one day in the seamstress shop and Yor was unashamedly shocked by the handsome blonde man giving her his attention.

Sometimes she caught herself mesmerized by his blue eyes. They seemed to hold a warmth in them for certain people. Like Anya. And she even ventured to believe he had a soft spot for her as well.

That's partially why her day became better. Loid has visited her at her job when he was on break from his job as what Anya liked to call a "feelings" doctor. He brought her a coffee with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. Said he stopped by and thought she would like something since she had been tired this morning.

That was thing number one.

The second thing that made her day better was that Yuri was going to be visiting tonight. She knew it would be a little tense with Loid around, but Yor had faith that her brother would eventually accept his brother in law.

The third thing that was the icing on the cake was that she had no assassinations tonight. She wouldn't have to lie to Loid, which, she really hated doing.

Sometimes she wished she could leave the business. But it brought great money and pretty soon she would be confident enough to suggest merging bank accounts with Loid so she would be able to help provide for Anya's expenses as well.

She hated to think that she was just mooching off of a kind man's money. Especially when she was more than capable of providing for herself.

Even if it was helping pay for Eden. Or new clothes. Or even miniscule things like food for Bond.

Yor finished her shift with a smile, even if her coworkers didn't. And after bidding them a good night, she walked home in the slowly darkening sky.

Three streets away from her home, Loid crossed paths with her.

"Good evening Yor."

Yor smiled and the breeze blew a few strands of her hair into her face.

"Good evening Loid." She looked up at the moon which was slowly peeking out.

Hopefully Anya got home safe. She wondered to herself. There was always a neighbor to pick Anya up from the bus since her last almost kidnapping.

"I got a call from Eden. Anya failed her last exam so she stayed late for a retake. I can only pray that she passed. Only God can help with her grades at this point." Loid gave a small chuckle, immediately followed by a defeated sigh. "We should take a walk to pick her up at the bus stop."

"That would be wonderful!" They walked in a content silence while enjoying the cool nighttime air.

"Do you have any errands you need to run?"

"Hm?" Yor was snapped out of a small reverie she had found herself falling into, thinking about a new stuffed animal she was considering purchasing for Anya.

"Any errands?"

"Oh." Yor's face reddened. Her errands usually meant her killings. "No. Although Yuri is scheduled to visit tonight. I want to apologize in advance-"
