Both daycare attendants were wide awake, finishing the last decorations around the daycare. Sunny smiled as they stuck a small decal of a bunny with a little basket full of multi-colored, extravagantly decorated eggs onto the wall. Moon was next to them, standing on a small ladder and hanging up a garland of polychromatic paper bunnies along the walls. They both hummed along to the loud, circus-like music echoing throughout the nearly empty room, the barren space feeling almost lifeless without the loud, cheery voices of the children. The blonde sighed, rocking on their heels, sensing something was off about the decorations before getting on the step ladder and switching a few of the bunnies around, the once slightly off pattern being perfectly consistent. Moon looked at the string of paper rabbits. "I didn't even notice." He walked over to a box on the desk and pulled out a bunny-shaped balloon before blowing it up and pinning it to the wall. Sunny stared at the decorations, still feeling something was off as they lifted their wrists to their faces, chewing on their wrist cuffs made of ribbon.

Moon turned towards them. "Why do you even do that?" he asked, walking over with a box and grabbing two bunny ear headbands, nestling one in Sunny's blonde curls before placing one on his head. They softly smiled, wrapping their arms around Moon's neck, planting a small peck on his lips. Moon softly smiled, wrapping an arm around the blonde's waist, his other hand cupping their cheek. Sunny giggled as their boyfriend moved his hand from their waist, entwining it with their own. The two's nice moment was interrupted. "Isn't it a little too early for you guys to be adorable" They both turned to see Roxy leaning against the door, keytar in hand and a tired look in her golden eyes. Sunny turned towards their sister "Roxy!!" they smiled and ran over, hugging her. Roxy grinned and ruffled their blonde curls. "Hey, little glitter gremlin," she exclaimed. Sunny forced a small smile, trying to fix their hair as they walked back over to Moon. The keytarist sighed. "I gotta get ready for the opening show- are you guys done decorating yet?" she asked. The petite attendant nodded. "Mhm, all set up for our little stars," they chirped happily. Roxy shot the two one last smile before heading back to the atrium. The blonde giggled softly as Moon grabbed their hand and spun them around, snaking a hand around their waist. Sunny smiled as they started dancing with their boyfriend, leaning up for one last kiss before the bell chimed and the usual annoyed voice of Vanessa rang from the PA System "5 Minutes to opening, get in your places".

Sunny fixed their curls before opening the door behind the upstairs check-in counter that led to the tower, walking up to the balcony, and sitting on the small rope swing that hung from the ceiling. Moon walked beside them, leaning on the railing, "and three...two...one," he hummed as the door opened, and children and parents rushed in. The adults signed in on the tablet, and the small children erupted in giggles as they slid down the long, twisting slide which led to the ball pit. Sun and Moon stayed on the balcony, the larger kissing the blonde's forehead. "Come get me when it's nap time, sunflower," he whispered before retreating back into the tower towards his room. The petite attendant jumped over the railing, landing on the small stage below them. "HELLO, MY LITTLE STARS!!!" they exclaimed before jumping into the ball pit and walking to the main area. The children surrounded them happily, shouting and clinging to their legs. Sunny smiled and picked one of them up. "Okay, friends, why don't we head to the arts and crafts area, and we'll make cards to welcome springtime!!". They walked over to the newspaper-covered tables, each seat having a blank card, and in the center of the table were jars of glitter, paints, markers, and crayons.

The children quickly filled the tables and started their crafts, their hands becoming sticky, sparkly, and very colourful. Sunny smiled softly as they took a basket of plastic eggs filled with different treats, hiding them all around the daycare. They returned to the children as they finished their cards. "Okay, friends, now it's time for an egg hunt!!" they smiled happily, clapping their hands. The children all ran to Sunny, grabbing their baskets and rushing off to collect the plastic eggs filled with sweets. They smiled softly as they set the timer for the egg hunt before walking to the kitchen to prepare the snack for that day, ham and crackers with shredded baby carrots. Sunny giggled, spreading some cream cheese on the crackers and placing the small slices of ham on before using the cream cheese again to stick the shredded carrots on and topping it off with a bunny toothpick. The petite attendant smiled, walking out with the main snack, a tray of fruit cups as an alternative, and a tray of water and juice boxes. They turned to the clock as the timer went off. "Okay, friends, place your baskets in your cubbies. It's snack time!" they set the tray down as the children rushed over, grabbing their snacks and drinks. The kids sat down, eating their snacks happily as Sunny cleaned up a bit before checking the schedule "Okay, friends, once you're done, it's playtime!" they announced. The children took their paper plates to the trash before running off to play as their caretaker wandered over to The Cloud Corner, setting up the pillows and blankets on the cots for nap time.

Sunny smiled softly before pushing the crescent-shaped button on the desk. "Moony...you can come down- 20 minutes till nap time,"  they whispered. Their caretaker watched the children until the loud circusesque music softened and faded into a soothing lullaby as the lights dimmed and Moon walked out. "Come on...settle down now. It's nap time,"  he whispered as the children followed him to the tent. He smiled softly as he tucked in the children, humming a lullaby and turning on the small nightlight in the corner. "Sleep well, little starlights..." he hummed, leaving the tent and walking over to Sunny, who sat on the desk. "We're great at our jobs," he said, sitting beside his partner. Sunny turned. "Mhm," they smiled and lied on Moon's shoulder, staring at the lights as they went out and the wall now covered in glowing star decals. "Only another hour until our friends start going home.... after nap time is when Pick-Up time starts," they whispered sadly, staring at the clock, which had different events of the day instead of numbers. Moon also stared at the clock. "I don't get the whole clock with no numbers thing-" he turned towards Sunny. They smiled softly before explaining, "It's hard for me to remember times, so I made a clock that had the different activities for the day instead of numbers!" they smiled before leaning over and kissing Moon's cheek. The two sat and talked until the lights came on, and a few parents crowded outside the doors. The children slowly got up, a few cleaning up all the blankets and pillows before leaving the tent. "Mr. Moony! Sunny! We cleaned up so you didn't have to," they cheered. Sunny beamed, "Thank you, little stars, now say goodbye to our friends that are leaving" They smiled as the children said their goodbyes to the few exiting the daycare.

The rest of the children returned to the play structure, making the most of the rest of their day.
