"Hello Kelly.

It's been a while, right?

Oh okay, just a day... Yeah. You're right.

I met her today, again. You know that girl I talked about yesterday?

Today we spoke to each other, finally.

Nothing special really, just her thanking me for doing my job I guess.

Oh, and she almost told me about her fancy boss but I stopped her. Not in the mood for that, you know. She didn't mind. What if she's getting paid to talk good about him? I mean she's someone's assistant, maybe she has to?

After work, I went straight home and crashed in my couch. Lovely as always. I love my couch, really. It's like my best friend, after the lads of course.

Niall called me today, he is a newborn owner of a dog, a freaking dog? I'm going to steal it someday, I promise. I love dogs actually, so I bet we will become great friends.

Niall has this beautiful girlfriend named Liv. She's a short, brown-haired girl from Sweden with those big blue eyes you see in magazines or films. She is really adorable, and I'm quite jealous of Niall for getting himself such a beautiful girl while I'm stuck with my thoughts about this girl.

Uh, I'm not so sure anymore why I'm telling you all this. It's not like you can answer me or anything. I have a meeting with Ms Walter on Wednesday, one day from now and I will ask her about this diary-thing.

But one thing is great I guess. I haven't noticed my demons today which is pretty nice. I've been too busy hanging at home.

Well, it's getting quite late, see you tomorrow.

/Louis"

I woke up by hearing my loud, piercing alarm. With my face buried in my pillow, I reached out my right hand, trying to find my cellphone at my nightstand. Finally, after maybe a minute (a very long minute) I grabbed it in my hand and turned off the alarm. The silence in my bedroom comforted me in the weirdest way. A quiet sigh left my throat when I realized that I've made it through the whole night without any nightmares.

Maybe it's because of Kelly?

I stood up and stretched my arms up in the air, letting a light yawn leave me before I looked quickly at the watch. Seven o'clock. Perfect. I had an hour left before work, and I would spend it with my coffee and cigarette.

I didn't bother to shower, I wasn't dirty or smelly at all so I just went straight to my wardrobe and opened it, and scanned the area after something fine to wear. I pulled out a black and white baseball t-shirt with long sleeves and a pair of black, skinny jeans. I quickly changed and made my way out to the kitchen to see my best friend, my coffee machine.

When I checked my phone behind the reception, it said half past eleven. Time for lunch.

I hadn't seen her yet, not today. It somehow made me kind of disappointed; I was so used to see her big, brown eyes meet mine early in the morning but today, no. Nothing. Nada.

My whole body twitched when Anna's clear voice reached my ears.

"Do you want to eat lunch with me today?" I raised my head and met her eyes, already staring at mine. I fumbled with my hands resting in my lap while I was biting my lip, hardly noticeable.

"Sure, would be nice. Where do you want to go?" I stood up and took my phone which was resting on the desk while I waited for her answer. Right when she parted her lips to answer, the door flew up and I could easily recognize the blonde hair and those icy blue eyes.

"LOUIS! LOUIS! LOUIS! LOOK AT HIM!" I froze, as I watched Niall's furry friend stand beside him, with his tail waving from side to side and a big smile on his face. I bowed down in front of the quite huge dog and started to pet him behind the ear.

"Who's a good dog? Are you? Yes you aaaare!" Niall laughed loudly as he watched me play with his new best friend, until I heard a loud sigh behind me.

"Louis, he's really cute and all that but no dogs in the office." I frowned as I stood up.

"Anna come on, look at him!" Niall pouted and looked over at my colleague, who stood with her arms crossed over her chest and a hard expression on her face.

"He's very cute and that but-"

"He? Jack, if I may. He has a name, you know." I saw in the corner of my eye how a smile started to build on Anna's lips. She's always been weak for Niall, he knows it too. But she's clearly not his type and I'm kind of happy for that, he belongs to Liv and no other.

"Whatever. Louis, shall we go?"

"Where are we going?" I bursted out laughing as I heard Niall invite himself, but it was okay for me. It was just lunch, you know? And since he's my friend, he could come whenever he wanted.

God, if you hear me, thank you for giving me such a funny and wonderful friend.

Anna sighed loudly as she grabbed her bag and started to leave the office.

"The coffee shop across the street."

Niall and Jack followed me back home after work, Niall insisting that he would call the lads over to my place. I didn't respond though, but of course it was okay, he knew me.

When I was about to enter my apartment, Niall released Jack from his leash and the large, black flatcoated retriever brushed against my legs as he ran incredible fast into my apartment. I stepped inside and took of my black vans, then I layed my eyes on Jack, standing in my couch with his tongue hanging out.

"Man, your dog is crazy. Where's Liv, by the way?" I walked towards the kitchen whilst Niall took a seat in the couch in the living room. The kitchen and living room didn't have a wall between which was quite nice in situations like these. I started the coffee machine and looked at Niall.

"She's at home, asleep. She really wanted to go but yeah, college takes the most of you, you know." I laughed quietly and raised my right hand, quickly pulling it through my hair.

"I wish I knew." I walked out of the kitchen and entered my balcony and took a seat. After a few seconds, Jack ran out on the balcony and layed down in front of my feet. I smiled awkwardly and took a cigarette from the table and lighted it.

Soon Niall came out also and sat down in the chair beside mine.

"So... are the lads coming?" I inhaled the smoke slowly while I waited for a reply.

"I don't know, none of them is answering so I guess not." I shrugged my shoulders and sighed for myself.
