After dinner

H: * After dinner we all went to the living room and started talking. Anthony is sleeping on my father's lap, poor guy must have played with
Emily until he got fed up, until Emily fell asleep only on the sofa with her head on my lap and her legs on top of Tessa. Tessa is now telling my parents how Emily's childhood has been so far and how she has managed to cope with the situation of raising a child and still going to school *

T: Emily was always very smart, I
don't know how she started to speak
early and that is why she speaks so
well for her age, the doctors were also
surprised but they say that she will be
a very smart girl in future more than it already is.

B: I noticed that she was already
more advanced for her age but I soon
remembered that Hardin was the same, at the age of three he was already learning to read.

H: * Tessa's cell phone starts to ring
and she excuses herself to answer and
gets up. Five minutes later she comes back *

T: Sorry but we have to go, my parents just got home and we barely see them because of work so we have to go now.

Th: Of course, Tessa doesn't matter, we understand. But we hope to see you and Emily soon, of course.

B: Of course Tessa is okay, but can I
ask what your parents do?

T: Ah, of course they are surgeons

B: Ah it must be really difficult to you
have them around.

T: Yes it is but whenever we can we are together and we understand, they are saving lives that is good.

H: * After Tessa said goodbye to my
family and I promised Anthony to
spend the day tomorrow with him, I
took them to the house where Tessa
and I agreed to spend the day together
tomorrow with Emily and Anthony . *

Next day (Sunday) 13:00 pm

T:* It's lunchtime and Hardin is now
ordering pizza for lunch, he and
Anthony arrived in the morning and are going to spend the day with us here since my parents aren't coming home today.
Emily and Anthony spent the morning
playing together, but the four of us also played together, because of course with a two-year-old girl none of us escaped playing dolls and princesses.*

H: * I'm at Tessa's house ordering
pizza for lunch when I hear someone
screaming but I soon realize it's Emily
crying, I try to finish the call to go
see her right away, when I'm going to
the playroom I give  faces with an
amazed Tessa. *

T: I think they are arguing...

H: What, why?

T: I don't know I just heard screams
saying give me and then Emily started
crying.

H: So let's see what's going on.
* when we open the door  we see Emily crying and Anthony trying to calm her down, Tessa runs in and asks what happened and Anthony starts to
explain *

A: Me and Em were playing but then we wanted the same toy and we started arguing and she fell to the ground. I didn't want to hurt her.
I swear.

H: * after telling us everything
Anthony starts to cry and now we have two kids crying. I know he didn't do it on purpose, in fact I've never seen Anthony cry that much, he was always a child and a calm baby, he must be really sorry. *

T: Oh my loves, calm down, don't cry,
it's okay.
* I know Anthony didn't mean to hurt
her, they are children sometimes they
disagree and hurt each other. I look at Anthony still in Hardin's arms
and he's still crying*

- Oh love don't worry Emily is already
fine, it was just an accident, don't worry.
* I say to him and he looks at Emily
who is sleeping in my arms, poor girl
fell asleep *

A: Will she... forgive me......... Tes...... Tessa ? * says between sobs *

T: of course baby, she loves you and
you know what?
She will forget what happened and I
am sure that when she wakes up she
will give you a big hug and will force
you to play with the dolls as only she
knows how to do.

H:* Wow, She's perfect *

3 hours later

T: * It's been 3 hours and Emily has
already woken up and l was right,
when she woke up she couldn't even
remember the fight with Anthony,
now we're in the park near my house
where there's also a skate park, Hardin brought his skateboard, which is bigger, and Anthony's, which is smaller.
Anthony is trying to get Emily on the
skateboard and it's so funny because
she almost  gets bigger than him, and they can't even stand upright*

H: * seeing Anthony with Emily reminds me of my childhood of how I was with HER, but now it's not possible but I miss it a lot.
It's been 4 years but I still haven't got
over what happened, I don't even know how I'm going if everything reminds me of her.
I'd like to tell Tessa everything
but I don't know if I'm psychologically
prepared for that.
I pick up the skateboard and get up
from the bench where l was sitting
with Tessa watching the children play
and go to the skate park, I need to stop
thinking about this so I  don't spoil the
rest of our day, tomorrow we're going
to classes and after what Tessa told
me about that damn school l have to
be prepared to hear the comments
they're going to make about Tessa and
even about me just for being with her.
I already know how this school shit
works*
