As the children sleep peacefully in their (color coded) cradles, Kathy turns to her husband. "William? I've been thinking..."

William blinks and glances up from watching Imira. "Yes, dear?"

"Well, since we speak different languages, I was hoping they'll be raised...speaking two languages. I was looking through ways to do that, and I saw a, uh, method which involves one language for one parent. See, I would speak only French to them and you would speak English. Does that..." She hopes he'll say yes— she isn't sure she'll have the full vocabulary to teach the children English, having only spoken it for four years.

William smiles supportively at her. "That sounds wonderful, darling. I want them to have the best opportunities they can have, and this plan sounds like it'll be good for them." He takes her hand in his, running his thumb over her wedding ring.

And that is that. Kathy had worried over if he'd like the plan, but he seemed to love it. Looking at how he looked at the children, she knows she made the right choice in marrying him.

She turns and grasps his jaw, pulling him in for a kiss. "I love you, William."

"I love you too, Kathy."
