Welcome Little One

Jacob laid his hands on my big stomach.  "You rock the pregnancy look." He joked.  Well, I looked better than my mother.  My face looked like it normally did, my thighs didn't get fat, thank god.  My dad walked into the room.   He had been trying to read the babies thoughts, but she/he wasn't developed enough.  Today might be the day.  

I could use my powers on the baby, when she/he would start kicking I would touch my stomach and send her happy thoughts.  I didn't want to know the baby's gender, I wanted it to be a surprise.  

Edward laid his hands on my stomach and listened closely.  "She loves you." He smiled at me.  "I love you too." I said openly to the baby.  

Suddenly a fierce pain struck in my stomach.  I felt like I was being stabbed.  I uneasily tried to stand.  "Guys," I said clutching my stomach. "I think she's coming."  

They rushed me onto Carlisle's hospital bed and yelled for him.  "Alice, get Carlisle, and Bella if you have time." Edward said.  Alice nodded and  left with super speed.   My mom rushed in after Alice left.  

She took my hand.  "It's okay, just breathe." She started doing breathing exercises with me.  The pain got worse, I felt like I was dying.  

Carlisle and Alice zipped into the room.   He came over toar me.  "Now, just breathe and start pushing." He said.  "Pushing what?"  

"Haven't you ever seen that birth video they show you in high school?" He asked.  I nodded and began, "Pushing"

Before long I heard the cry of new life.  "It's a girl!" Carlisle said taking the little thing and wiping her off with a towel before cutting the umbilical cord.   He wrapped it in the towel before handing her to me.  

I looked down into her little blue eyes.  She had brown hair like her mother, she was a little tan, but had the most gorgeous blue eyes.  Though I had no clue where she got those from.  Everyone here had brown eyes.  

I looked into her eyes and instantly loved her.  She smiled at me.  "Alice Jasmine Black." I kissed the top of her head.  I wanted to name her after Alice and Jasper who saved my life from the volturi.  But I couldn't give her a guy middle name, so Jasmine.  My little A.J.
